I new to all this disney stuff...I was wondering what is DVC?

Disney Vacation Club - it is an onsite timeshare, but oh so much more flexible than a regular timeshare

Can you rent them if you dont own? Where abouts are they?

You can rent them directly through Disney or rent points from an owner. They are like apartments and are various sizes from Studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, and sleep from 4 to 12...check here for info:

They are often attached to Deluxe properties like: Boardwalk, Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, Animal Kingdom Lodge as well as Saratoga Springs and Old Key West Resorts....I think that's all of them!
