Really sick and trip is in two days!!!!

I am so upset my husband and i are really sick and our trip is on Friday till Sunday.we have a horrible cold. idk what to do!!! i feel like i am having a nightmare. i also keep reading that Friday is gonna be a horrible day for rain. should i cancel and move it??? the hotel lets us cancel within 24 hours. we want to go this month though. what other weekends are good with crowds just in case? help!

I'm SO sorry you are not feeling well. I've only got a week and 1/2 to go and that is my biggest fear... i'm glad that you are rescheduling though.

I'd try the week of Feb 22. I'm going between Feb 13 and 20 and expecting high crowds because of Valentine's Day, Mardi Gras and spring break - but my kid's in school and that's when we can go.

Just a suggestion on some meds to take try loading up on Vitamins C and D and also some Echinacea (all are over the counter). As soon as anyone in my house hold gets some sniffles or anything close to a cold we load up and it has worked for us with in two days we are feeling better.

Sorry I do not have any advice about rescheduling.

I would reschedule. You don't want to travel feeling under the weather. I ending up catching a cold in the world and was battling it the whole time I was there. I mean a cold with the works! We're talking congestion, fever, body aches, sore throat and earache. It was not fun and was really upset that I oculdn't enjoy myself on my trip.

Save yourself the money and time and reschedule. Best wishes to you!

One WDW vacation I got sick here at home, was fine on the plane ride, and then on the first day of our trip had a cold. It lasted 5-7 days we were there. I still did all the parks and tried to have a good time even though I had a cold. Luckily our resort had cold medicine and there was kleenex in our room. Sorry this had to happen to you. We are just getting over sickness in our house too

Go to the doctor and get an excuse for the Dr. that you can use for reschedule your airline ticket without being charged the change fee.

They can give you both an antibiotic shot and something called a Zpack ! My hubby got one Friday and Saturday he was feeling GREAT .. The kids had the bug for a week before he got it and he avoided it all together !
