Really Ot - Those Dang Colts!!!!

Ok, I am a HUGE Colts fan,but they played TERRIBLE today!!!!! They did not look like the team that I love!!!! I was so disappointed that they lost!!! I hope they can improve their game soon, before the playoffs start! I really don't want to lose faith in them!!!

It definitely was a glum afternoon in our house after this loss... I was so hoping to see our Colts come down to south fla and win the superbowl...

Since we actually are Purdue fans (and college football fans in general) , we are now wearing our New Orleans shirts. We looked a little wierd with all those blue jerseys out there today. Go Drew!

Sorry to all of you who are part of the blue crew, but this happens with them every year. Even if they make it to the playoffs, they won't get to the Super Bowl. I just can't believe what this city is doing for the team and the new stadium. I'm afraid this will be another central library fiasco and we'll wind up paying for it for a long time. (Kind of like the current stadium that isn't paid for..... .)

Definately bummed today by the loss. Add that to getting booted from my fantasy football playoffs in the last week of the season, it just stinks!

But at least we can get the losses out before the playoffs start. Right? right? <whisper> right? </whisper>

Oh, I know, we are moping around our house, too and we didn't even get to see the game! We live in Tennesse so we got to see the Titans win, but not our Peyton. We have followed him since his days as a Volunteer, which we are also huge fans of!

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they do make it to the Super Bowl.

I'm a Colts and a Cowboys fan. I'm originally from Dallas, so I can't turn my back on the 'boys, but I do love Peyton. First the Colts get stomped and now the Saints are killing the Cowboys

Funny, cause I said earlier that we are huge Peyton and Tennessee Vols fans, but I meant for football. We live in Memphis, so we love our Memphis Tigers and our Tennessee football. But I have to agree, Pearl is doing an awesome job! TN smeared us!!

I'll going to get flamed, but give me a break! He can be such a cry baby. He's got the play off curse, you'll never see them in the Super Bowl.

Not that I have anything to brag about, our Broncos have self imploded over the last four weeks. Looks like the play offs are a pipe dream for us here in Denver.

I just can't believe what this city is doing for the team and the new stadium. I'm afraid this will be another central library fiasco and we'll wind up paying for it for a long time. (Kind of like the current stadium that isn't paid for..... .)

Do you know how may multi-millions every year the team brings into the city? The tax $$'s alone on the payroll checks of the players is millions, not to mention 60,000 people coming into downtown to eat, drink, park and party for all those home games. Plus free publicity on monday night football, and the like multiple times each year.

The city couldn't afford to lose the team, from an economic or perception sense around the country....even if that means they paid more then they should have to keep them.

Oh Lord...my husband is a HUGE Colts fan from way back when they were in Maryland. He refuses to support the Ravens. I heard about this butt-whipping they got all night and I mean all night and what's the first thing I see this morning...He will be glad to know there are others out there who are sad over this loss.

The Titans win last week was almost a fluke - SO close that a last second play won it for them - they should have never been that close. Sunday's game was just a whupping.

After the game, FOX commentators noted that Peyton may be a lot like Dan Marino - one of the best QB's of all time never to win a SuperBowl.
