Doing all the reading on these boards planning for my two night stay makes me want to make it longer!!!! LOL

But seriously thank you to everyone on here for answering my questions and reassuring me that my splurge at the poly is worth it!!

Hope you have a magical time at the Poly! pixiedust: Our first on-site stay was 3 nights - I know exactly how you feel! ::yes::

Any amount of time spent at the Poly is worth it to me :goodvibes. Have a great trip and enjoy the Poly as there's so much to love about it ::yes::.

Any Disney time is better than no Disney time, but personally in my 8 trips (soon to be 9), since I was a kid, the shortest trip was 7 nights and the longest was 14....I can't imagine only going for two...what's the reason??? :confused3

unless you live close or visit often I think 2 days is a crazy expense especially for tickets. It's much cheaper per day to buy 4 or more days vs 1 or 2.

The only time I'd do a 2 day trip is if it was before or after a cruise and we only live about 7 hours away.

Congrats on the Poly though it's our favorite resort and worth the splurge

We already have our tickets so we booked room only with a good discount. We are spending a week visiting family in Clearwater for 6 days and I convinced dh to spend two nights there at the end, he isnt the guy to go every year so this was a compromise! I really want to see the new fantasyland and want to take my girls before they stop believing in all of it.

I convinced dh to add it on to a week in Clearwater! I would love to stay longer but we are planning a ten day stay in October 2013 and my dh wont go all the time every year so I have to take what I can get

Gotcha!!! But in regards to your kids believing the magic....your kids are young...they will. My girls are 8 and almost 6 and in April they will go on their 4th trip...they believe...:goodvibes

I am 34 and even I believe. ::yes::

It's hard not to be taken in by Disney magic. Enjoy your stay! :goodvibes

Thanks. I hope they believe in it forever! but my five year old has been asking lately if rapunzel is real etc.
Hoping to convince hubby to do ten days next october.

well that makes more sense then. I thought you were just traveling for 2 days at WDW lol. GL on the 10 days next year!! I know I'm pretty lucky in that my DH likes Disney as much as I do

Huh, stop believing!!!! Not a chance, you just need to nurture it properly. My DS14 is looking forward to planning his 16th b'day at WDW, and my DW is looking to celebrating another 29th b'day there as well.

The Magic never stops, some just learn to ignore it ( bad people ):rotfl2:

Nice post - I just booked a QUICK trip to the Poly only 2 weeks in advance. And so what??? We have gone several times as a family and know what we like. A 3 day trip is fun and we don't have to do EVERYTHING because we have been there before.

We are flying out from Colorado late on a Saturday night with free flights, a free car rental, a free night at Hilton Bonnet Creek, then staying on an AP rate for 2 nights at the Poly. I'm paying for MNSSHP tickets but I already have an AP and I'll get the kids 2 day base tickets - one full day at Epcot and then about 5 hours at MK on the last day.

It will be quick - but oh so fun!! :cheer2:

I think quick trips have their own special magic. pixiedust: You will have a great time!!!! :cheer2:
