Really Old Mickey Mouse Found @ Grandma's House

My grandmother had this Mickey Mouse in her house which I found after she passed away several years ago. It is approx. 7 inches tall. I know it is original (it was wrapped up in her China cabinet with her old linens and retro apron in the dinning room of all places. My parent (only kid) was born in '34, but it might be from before he was born. He doesn't remember anything about it. I know they were pretty frugal during the 1930's. It's in poor shape. Can anyone tell me a little bit about it (year, worth) and/or any recommendations/cautions about restoration?

Would love to hear your thoughts about it...I have no clue.

p.s. although I have posted countless photos on forums and tried to find the "album" on the control panel page, I cannot for the the life of me upload my picture so I just put it as my avatar (to the left).

In poor shape most items have almost no value. If the item were to be one of a kind or have some direct connection to Walt Disney, that might be an exception.
