I got up the past 2 mornings at 5:50 to look online for a table for 7 at 'Ohana at 6 am sharp. Yesterday the system wasn't working until after 6:30, but today I hit the search button at 6 am. We aren't staying onsite, so I can only search one day at a time for the nights of Oct 18-23. Can all of the tables really be taken by those staying on Disney property or is 'Ohana going to be closed for renovation during that time or is something wrong with the system?

I think sometimes we just cant get what we want on one day...go on the reservation site and keep trying...I got Ohana on the 50 day out...Sometimes people just up and cancel and voila ..there they are..keep trying

I am a newbie to ADR but I will say I just snagged a BOG breakfast less than a month out. I did it by obsessively refreshing and checking for any of my available times. Just keep swimming! ;)

i was able to find a table for 7 on october 18th and 19th for breakfast or dinner at ohana.

just an fyi they only offer breakfast and dinner. if you try for lunch it will say unavailable.

October is becoming more and more busy and it can be hard to snag the popular reservations anymore. Keep trying, and watch when the October cancellation thread pops up. I got an Ohana ressie two weeks out last year.

Being offsite and able to book just one day at a time it's possible all the available tables for a party of 7 have already been booked by onsite guests with the +10 day advantage because most restaurants don't have that many large tables.

Also, the Disney reservation system has a quirk making it harder to book odd numbered parties so you could try adding 1 and look for a table for 8. The system wants to fill every seat so an odd numbered party gets skipped, but add 1 more and since you'll be "filling" all 8 seats, tables sometimes open up. Be sure to include everyone who will be at the table because of fire code regulations so don't look for fewer than your entire group.

You could also try splitting your group to look for 2 smaller reservations , but you'll need a second person with a different MDE account to book the second reservation. While you can ask when you check in, there is no guarantee that you will be seated together or even near each other.

Keep checking online to see if a cancellation comes up. Cancellations go back into the system almost immediately so it is a matter of being online checking just as a cancelled res re-enters the system.

You can also subscribe to the cancellation thread for your month, but be sure to read the rules in the first post:

We had the 180 + 7 (length of stay) and i was shocked how hard Ohana was to get for a party of 3 at a "normal" dinner time (taveling with a 3.5 y/o so 9 pm isn't feasible)

Also, If you are looking to dine on a MNSSHP night it will be more difficult to get as many like to eat at the resorts before the party and, LTT is down for refurb during that time so MK is light on TS for any night.:sad1::sad2::sad:

I have really noticed lately that October is becoming really popular and it does seem to be the off site guest that is facing difficulty booking ADRs. I have seen it over and over again lately.

Ohana can be difficult to get at 180+10. Besides BOG I would say it is the single most difficult reservation to get on property. So I am honestly not that shocked that you are having trouble at the 180 mark.

But keep trying. Things open up all the time!

I was pretty stunned too. I haven't had difficulty booking in June, October or December in the past at 180 days but couldn't find anything for Oct 18-23. I am relentless in getting a reservation, often checking 10 times per day until I get one, which is what I had to do for our June trip when our plans changed a few months prior to arrival. Just gets tiresome to constantly check...

today is the day i was able to book my 180+10 and i was online waiting with several windows open on several devices. i started searching at 6am and there were very little time slots left for CRT, BOG, 'Ohana and Via Napoli (these are just the ones i searched). unfortunately my +10 didn't work no matter what i did on any of my devices and i continued trying until calling at 7am. my call went straight through with no wait. Choices were very limited. I couldn't get anything for BOG. Via Napoli only had 11:30 am and 8:30 pm on the day i wanted (thursday). I took a 4:25 CRT dinner because there was nothing except breakfast and a late dinner on our party night. I lucked out with a 5:25 dinner at 'Ohana that wasn't even there when i was searching on my computer, someone must have just cancelled. the only other 'Ohana was 9:15. I had no problem getting pre-park opening Tusker House, 7am Chef Mickey's and 12:10 lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe. I hope to be able to tweak some of these and add a few before the trip.

should add this is for Oct 21-26

This was me this morning. Maybe at 6 something was available, but by 7 no CRT breakfast, no CP early breakfast, and no Garden Grill at all.
