Really nervous...points aren't showing up!

Okay...I hope this is an administrtive glitch but I'm really worried. I just closed on a 75 point resale with Timeshare Store. The contract is showing up in my DVC account but NO points for 2009 and 2010!!!!!!! The contract said all the points were available! Is this normal????

It can take a few days after the initial data is entered and your account created before they actually deposit the points and they show up on the website. Give it a few days, maybe until the middle of next week, given it is a holiday weekend. If the points don't show up by then, call member accounting/admin.

Thank you for the reassurance. I was about to have a heartattack. Usually buy directly from Disney but took a chance on resale and could just hear my husband now..."I told you so"

The same thing happened to me and I was getting worried. They told me there would be a few days delay but mine was taking longer than this. Come to find out only one person enters this data and she was on vacation.

This is happening to us too. We closed on the 7th and they still haven't showed up yet!

We closed on our contract last week through a resale and the points just appeared today. It took apprx 7 days for them to transfer.

Thank you to whomever sprinkled pixie dust! My points showed up a little while ago! I had emailed the Timeshare Store and the agent who closed for us....and they both told me it may by 7-10 days before everything showed up. BUT VOILA....THE POINTS ARE THERE NOW!!!!

The same thing happened to me. It can take a week or two for the points to show up properly online. Apparently there are two different DVC departments that have to work on the transfer.

We closed on May 13, and everything showed up in our account two days ago. Checked it out and everything was correct.

We just closed recently and it took 6 days for our points to show up. So hang in there! Just made our first reservation!! So exciting!!! Good luck!!

Typically there is only a 2 to 4 day delay on Disney getting the points transferred into the account. I hope your points show in the account soon. If you bought from The Timeshare Store, Inc.® feel free to e-mail me your information and I can check with Disney on Tuesday as to the delay.
