My mother has been having back problems for years. She had surgery in 2000 for a 3 inch piece of bone that was pressing on a disc and had the disc removed as well. She has sciatica, stenosis, scoliosis, is loaded with arthritis...the list goes on. The stenosis is bothering her and we went to the neurologist in January and she has to have surgery. However, we don't have a date yet and we don't go back to the neuro till the 16th. She is in a great deal of pain and discomfort. She is walking with a cane and is really slumped over as that is the position that eleviates some of the pain and pressure. She is only 74 and we have a lot of Disney trips to take yet.
If you could keep her in your prayers I would really appreciate it. I pray that the surgery is a success and she is back to her old self again.
