I have been told by many ladies (and a good number of men) that my husband is very very good looking. Actually a couple of weeks ago, a lady working in the store commented on how hot my husband is! He doesn't know it himself, but I happen to agree. I wound up with an amazingly good looking guy! So I think the OP needs to look harder or come to my neck of the woods

I know what you mean. Most days when you leave the house, you see at least 20 hot women for every one really great-looking guy!

Last night, however, I went to the bookstore, and the whole way there was paved with gorgeous men. Seriously, the song "Hallelujah it's Raining Men" should have been piped in. I saw two incredibly handsome guys on the drive there and then inside the bookstore, it was like it was the local gym's book club night or something. Gorgeous guys were all over the place, I wanted to pull a construction worker and start with catcalls and wolf whistles, but I restrained myself.

Guess where my sister and I are going tonight to browse?

I never pay attention to a man's looks...other qualities more important...now for a woman, sorry to say, you can have everything in the world going for you, but you still better look good..."Valley of the Dolls" world in 1967, still is in 2006. And no, as a 44 year old woman that doesn't make me happy.

I totally agree. I live in a college town where lots of young guys run around without shirts (the advantages of living in a warm-weather town where there are lots of runners ) but I still think the ratio of gorgeous girls to gorgeous guys is 10:1. Luckily women don't care as much about men's looks....right?? I mean we don't, really...do we???
