Really dumb question...

We have done an exchange with Interval International and are staying at OKW in less than two weeks and staying at a regular condo somewhere else is different than staying at Disney. My question is this...Do you have regular 'Mousekeeping' at the DVC resorts just like the regular resorts?? Normally, when we stay at our regular resort (at Outer Banks), we have to do the whole towel exchange midweek and strip the beds and vacuum the day of check-out. Any info would be very helpful!!!

You will have a trash and towel day midway through your stay (assuming a 7 night rental), you do not have to do any cleaning prior to your leaving. What you clean during your stay is up to you, but, there is no free daily service, you can opt for it, but it will be an additional charge.

Here's a list of what you should find in the unit. If you don't find any of these things, call house keeping and they will bring it to you. You will need coffee and filters, laundry soap, shampoo, bath soap, and other things you might require, but as you can see the units are well equiped.

Wow. That's great you were able to trade into Disney. I hear that's hard to do. I'd be interested to know how you accomplished your trade.

As for your question... yep! dumb, but Gail's got you covered.

Several issues. First, don't forget the $95 extra fee is due BEFORE you arrive. I don't know if they'd cancel you if you didn't but I wouldn't take the chance. No housekeeping at all. You will get a trash and towel midweek where they take out the trash, exchange the towels and should replenish the coffee, sugar, etc. You can get an extra towel pack for $6 with 4 towels, etc. If you have a 1 BR or larger, you'll get a W/D, if not, there is a W/D by the quiet pools. If you have a studio, just realize there are no plates or utensils other than a few paper/plastic ones.

Also realize you can call member services for requests, info, dining reservaitons and the like. I'm a DVC owner AND I've traded in. Actually was there last week in a 1 BR at BWV on a bonus week trade. Any other questions.

is also available, for $10/night. Apparently, this will get your bed made (YAY!), chocolates onthe pillows, and fresh towels(just the ones that have been used...never used it ourselves, but are definitely going to!

I would be very surprised if that is offered at OKW. I would imagine at the others yes.

Yes, you sure do, but, the purchases are sent to the General Store and you need to pick them up.
