Someone did not pay attention to the acronym this would make - how long until they try to give it another name?

I know this is off topic. But this made me laugh. My daughter named her horse Amigo Silver Stewart. And every time she writes it out, I giggle a little. Course, she was 10 when she named him - and the initials didn't stand out to her like they did to me.

Disney keeps nibbling more and more money out of guests.
Why would they stop, giving less but taking more… the cycle continues.

I didn’t renew haven’t been since 2019 and said I’d just not go
For a while…
But… I just booked 8 days and will likely pay all the UPgrades just to be able ( hopefully) to do what I/we want.
that word… Want.

Lightning Lane is the new name for the former Fast Pass lane. This name is set; new signs are already in place. Logically any passes to use the Lightning Lane would simply be called Lightening passes.

I would propose the following names to help reduce confusion.

Genie+ could be called Magic Carpet - Lightning Pass (MC-LP)
(The “Magic Carpet” pass name was suggested by another poster in a different thread, and I really liked it. It conveys magical movement that a Genie would give you. This would eliminate the confusion between Genie (the free planning tool] and Genie+ (the paid ride pass).

As for "Individual Attraction Selection" (IAS) or "Individual Lightning Lane" (ILL), neither name quite makes it, particularly the later . I would suggest this program be called the Individual Selection - Lightening Pass (IS-LP). (We could call it “Select Pass” for short.)

If I wanted to keep it more Disney sounding, I would suggest this IA$ be called the “You never had a friend like me” pass, but that might be too much.

We did because that's the name Disney used. But they just announced a name change for the ala carte attractions. They're now going to call it Individual Lightning Lane Selections... or ILL$ as we are now dubbing it.

This is my thinking. Going to be in the parks 16-23 and have decided that I will just embrace it all, go full park hopper and work it that way....its only an extra 500 dollars via Sams club tickets for the hopper + Genie add on later . I literally make a living by finding deals, that part of me is horrified by this, but the part of me that agrees with you that life is short and it's just not worth screwing up the bulk of the trip by getting this part wrong, that part is ready to pay up. Perhaps I will decide to cut out a couple of ADR to recoup....but probably not.

Had not even thought about that with Alien ride!! DH pretends to like it because he knows how I feel about it. Can't wait to call it by the acronym name...
