Really bummed at the drop in Oswald representation.

The wife and I just wrapped our first Disneyland day and I just wanted to say how disappointed I am at how much Oswald representation has dropped at both parks.

Back in January 2017 on our Honeymoon trip I bought I killer shirt and jacket at the Oswald’s gas station in Buena Vista street and I was hoping to get something comparable to eventually replace the jacket as I managed to make a small tear in it recently.



But tonight I discovered Oswald’s now is all generic merchandise, mostly caps and on top of that the character meet and greet is gone.

What a bummer. Bleh.

I bought an Oswald sweatshirt a few weeks ago and they still had it last week when I was there. Oswald was also still meeting as of a few weeks ago but he’s not on the main times guide you have to check the app for what times he will be out.

Hmm...that's a bummer. We met Oswald just before New Year just inside DCA - there was no photopass photographer with him, but we did get some pics and some fun interaction since my eldest son was wearing an Oswald sweatshirt.

Send in a comment to Disney to let them know how you feel about this. (Stop by Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or use the "contact us" link at the bottom of the DLR web page.) Oswald won't get more representation if management thinks no one cares!

I agree with this wholeheartedly. My daughter is a huge Oswald fan and this past Christmas was our second trip to Disneyland. The merchandise in Oswald's shop was generic and most of it wasn't even Oswald themed. We did get her a nice sweatshirt, and they do a better job than World, where Oswald may as well not exist, but we were overall disappointed in the lack of representation in the shop and everywhere else in the parks.

I sent an email to Disney after we learned Oswald wouldn't be available for meet and greets regularly anymore, and we basically got a generic response. I hope this isn't a trend.
