Realization: I'm a loser who will never get a postcard

So excited to see an email in my box today. Special offer from Disney...
Turns out I was being invited to tour the DVC (Saratoga Springs)
It was like unwrapping a pretty package and finding nothing but a booger in the box!

Actually, nothing. I have 2 boys at home so that is a pretty regular 'item' around our house......

We bought Annual passes October 2003, and we haven't gotten anything at all. They don't know we exist.

Not one thing! No email. No postcard. Not even a magazine which I *thought* we were supposed to get at least once a year?!

sigh*

We're 2nd class APers.

But, I'm not *really* complaining. We got to 'hop' all over the parks.

And we got a discount on golf.

But that's about it!

Oh, I DID get an invitation to participate in a survey.
I told them it would be cool if APers got an 'extra magic hour' !!!

wheeee!!

Not that they'll listen to me, they don't know I exist.

Where's that pile of boogers?

Maybe we all need to just email postcards to each other saying "If I worked for Disney, I'd be sending you a discount code and a pin number." hahaha.

That's because they are busy sending it to me to torture me.

They should know that there is NO WAY we can do a WDW trip right now since we're saving for our DCL cruise.
Drives me crazy that I actually GOT a code and can't use it.
When we were planning our trip last year it seemed like they had discounts for residents of just about every state EXCEPT ours.

Same thing happened to me - but the WDW e-mail they sent me was actually about sending pics to DisneyLAND for that new promotion they are doing. To say I was disapointed is a severe understatement.

I got that same beautiful e-mail package with nothing inside (except info about Saratoga Springs). Like the OP, I saw the "Disney" name and was so hopeful! We're going in September and we could sure use a discount, as we haven't booked a place to stay yet. Have been hoping. . .

I too own Disney stock- which BTW is tanking- you think they could send out a little something to take the sting out of that.

I also own stock. The closest thing I got to a discount was a letter from The Walt Disney Co., inviting me to send in a photo from a trip to Disneyland. My youngest dd got the mail that day and started yelling "Mommy! You got mail from disney!!" I got so excited for a moment, only to have my hopes slashed when I saw what it was.

Don't give uphope! According to posts on the various boards, post cards are still being mailed via snail mail..

I've got my fingers, toes, legs, arms, and eyes crossed for all of you who are waiting..
