I have posted on other reality TV threads and I see that I am not the only addict out there. I took a lot of classes in college about behavior and development and social interaction, etc... and I think I just really love to watch the way people interact with each other. It fascinates me. I also love games and I love the strategy as well. So here it is.

What digital cable company do you have that has a reality channel???? I might need to have a little talk with Comcast...

Good afternoon ladies. Another addict checking in! It's nice to find others who have the same addiction. My husband doesn't share in my love of Reality TV. ALthough he will watch Survivor with me sometimes! Can't wait to see what this season holds for the Reality TV shows.

I'd also like to know what this reality tv channel is all about. I have Direct TV. I need to see if I have it.

Thanks for posting this thread!

Hi. My name is Katie and I am a reality TV junkie. You give me a show, any show be it good or bad and I'll watch it. Does anyone else read Reality Blurred? It is a great source for the behind-the-scenes news/events of reality shows. Add to the big beginning list:

Open Bar
Hell's Kitchen
Single Girls
Kill Reality
Wife Swap
Biggest Loser
Rock Star: INXS
Who wants to Marry my Dad?
Last Resort

oh, so much tv, so little time.

Fox Reality is on Direct TV. Best addition to switching from Cable. Also have OLN to get the Survivors

I am a total reality geek! I watch a lot of it. My DH is not letting me live down that I am currently watching the Girls Next Door. I know it's bad, but it lures me in...help! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OK, I'm not feeling so bad now. I'm not as bad as you guys. :rotfl:

My favorites are Survivor and Amazing Race. I did watch the first season of The Apprentice, but now I'm done with that show. I did watch Joe Millionaire too and a few others here and there. But really only Survivor and AR religiously.

I guess I don't consider myself a junkie, but there are some shows I really hate to miss:

Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother, Rock Star: INXS, Dancing With the Stars

Others I like are: Wife Swap, Super Nanny, Nanny 911, American Idol, All the Home Improvement Shows, Mister Mom

Some others I have seen are: Hells Kitchen, The Cut, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Road Rules and Real World

I ran across a show about Hulk Hogan's family - something about his daughter starting her singing career.

Glad to hear I am not the onoly one. DH thinks most reality shows are garbage, but he will watch Survivor with me. Why do you think we made the kids' bedtime 8:00.

Hello - my name is Chastity and I need other people reality to survive! :rotfl:

We are HUGE reality TV watchers in our house, here is a sample list.

Real World
Road Rules
Mister Mom
Super Nanny
Nanny 911
Survivor
Amazing Race
The Apprentice
So You Think You Can Dance
America's Next Top Model
Big Brother
American Idol
Canadian Idol
Temptation Island
Average Joe
Joe Millionaire
The Bachelor/Bachelorette
Paradise Hotel
Myth Busters
Wife Swap
What Not to Wear
Trading Places
Trading Spaces
Biggest Loser
The Big Break

There is just not enough hours in a week to keep tabs on all of the shows - that is why I love the DIS and all those who keep us informed.

Oooh - What not to wear. LOVE the BBC version of this show. I also love Cash in the Attic on that station. Am addicted to Sell this Home despite the fact that I am not in the market to buy right now. Oh, and Logo has this show about planning a surprise wedding for gay couples. That one is very interesting too. Let's just say the last one included a game show theme and drag queens!

Oooh, I forgot about Girls Next Door!! We just moved and we were without cable for about a week and now I lost track of when it's on. It's on E!, right? Thanks for reminding me. My fiance will thank you, hahaa, he makes fun of me for watching it too!!

Confession of a DH Reality TV junkie:

My name is Scott and I am shamelessly addicted to the following:

Big Brother
Survivor
Rock Star: INXS
The Apprentice
American Idol
The Amazing Race
Lost (not reality but it's my fav!!)
anyone really miss The Mole?? I do!!
Celebrity Fit Club
the Ozzfest reality show
Temptation Island
Viva La Bam

There are many others that I watch when I can, but the above are "season passed" in my Tivo.

The Mole was great! I didn't much like Celebrity Mole. I saw one the other day "Date my Mom." It had a woman who was a lesbian date go on a date with the mothers of three other lesbians. Then the woman chose which daughter she would like to go out with. It was kind of bizarre, only because the person's daughter looked like a little child to me.

Hello. My name is Beth and I'm also a reality show addict!

I watch most of the ones already listed. Not all of them, but my favorites are
Amazing Race
Survivor
WifeSwap
Nanny 911
SuperNanny
Big Brother
American Idol
Extreme makeover Home Edition
Bachelor/ette
Average Joe
I'm probably foretting a few.

I'd actually love for Fire Me to come back on...loved it!

Oh, The Mole! We loved the Mole. It was one of the few reality shows that I could get my fiance to watch with me. Even celebrity Mole was ok. I wonder why they haven't ever done any more real Moles? Is Anderson Cooper too busy with his CNN career??? Hello! What is really important here :rotfl:

So I was really bored tonight and you totally peaked my interest regarding Breaking Bonaduce, and boy were you right! :earseek: That guy has some SERIOUS issues! I think my jaw was just resting on the floor for the entire episode. How sad for his wife and his children.
