LOL about this thread! My Daddy told me that a southern belle can have false eyelashes, false teeth, and other "false" things but her silver and her pearls must be real

As for pumpkins, we have both types. I have a cool fake one that glows and one I made when I took ceramics but we always get some real ones to carve. I also have some pumpkin-shaped candles that I use as part of my fall centerpiece

My Christmas tree....is sadly fake. Maybe this year will be the year for a real tree. I love the smell of a real tree. I hate vacuuming up all the fallen needles, though.
