Real Magic..

As some of you know, my son has quite severe feeding issues and Autism.

Friday, we took Daniel to Hollywood and Vine to see if he would like the characters. Please bear in mind, because of his Autism he has never accepted a photo with anyone other than people he knows and trusts, often resorting to banging his his head and screaming.

He loves Handy Manny and Oso. When Manny walked in, to our amazement he ran up to him and would not stop hugging him !

Manny took a piece of paper, wrote on it "I am crying inside"..

Today Daniel was a guest of Discovery Cove, was given free access and treated like a king for the day. Went to bed with a real warm feeling.

This is the real magic for us.

aww this is so heart-warming, this is one of the reasons why Disney truly is the most magical place on earth. I also have a child with special needs and i think i may have to bring a HUGE supply of hankies!

As the mother of two autistic children I know how heartwarming this is. My children have had some of the most magical experiences of their lives in Florida and I hope they have some more when we go back next summer.
