I figure we are close enough to being settled with dates to start some planning for meets and the like.

Should we try to catch up for drinks or lunch somewhere? I'd like to try to organise a general DisMeet - open invitation - and see if there are any other Dis-sers that might want to come along. Someone organised a similar one in 2010 at Hurricane Hanna's at SAB. We brought some nibbles and had a great time just chatting with each other.

I'm having some complications regarding this year's trips. I need to find out what DSis wants to do with some of the weekend trips I've already booked for her. When the points for this year are straightened out, then I can deal with what I have for next year.

I'll be seeing her over Labor Day weekend, so maybe I'll know more after.

I'm coming to the meet, it's just not my priority now.

Friday October 4th looks good to me as a cook out/pot luck supper at BCV. Or do you want there to be 2 "not in restaurant" dinners? If there is enough interest in a MNSSHP, Fridays aren't usually discounted, so we may as well try for a discount if there's interest in going. It may be that there's a concert, Eat to the Beat, that's interesting to us and getting to Am Garden theater is easy from BC!

It would be interesting to eat in the new BOG. I haven't flown since 09 , what is the best airline to fly, mind you now I white knuckle... I can't recall what airline we flew over there. Any recommendations?

I have 2 reservations for BOG, one with our family including DGC, and the other with DSis and DCuz, the night before the Member Cruise. Do you want to try it for this meet? Both of my ADRs are for January.

We have hardly any direct flights out of Dayton anymore, so we fly Air Tran to MCO when we can. They have one direct flight daily each way. DH has the most frequent flyer miles on United, so that's how we go for longer distances.

I'm planning on 3 weeks away. There will be time in DLR, WDW....and I think those dates are locked in.

I'd like to do NYC and DisMeet with you but DH is now not so sure. He's now talking about a native American Indian experience...I have to do the research. Been looking at Arizona; but I want to see if there is anything else.

There's still 13 months between now and then. We won't be locking anything down until maybe in 11 months time.

Like one of those eco-tours thing. I looked it up....Monument Valley, Sedona and the Grand Canyon.

If I could find something out East, that would help me justify a trip out there.

Oh, Chris is Native American. I got to visit the Grand Canyon once. It sure was something to see. I have no clue about NY. Allot to learn about the culture.
