Real Life game/fun: Calling for a DisBoard Gamers DisMeet....first week Oct 2013

Talk about last, this was the last on the second page of games on my screen! Is PIO back from her trip yet??!!!

Maybe we might get some more folks wanting to join in now that we're getting closer! :worship:

F&W is a special time, going to that may convince more people to join us!

Halloween parties will most likely be going on too! I love MNSSHP! Anyone else?pirate:

We'll have to see. We might try one out here first and see if it's worth all that. With APs it really hurts to spend another $70-80 for one night. :confused3

OK! I have a DS who lives in FL, and if not with Disers, I'll go with them!:goodvibes. By October next year DH will be retired, me too, I hope to work the fall semester this year, then I will be done, that's sad in a way, but it will be time. DH & I want to do things while I can still get around. It really is a shame how the party tickets have skyrocketed in price.

I'm considering renting a scooter for my F&G visit with my dSis later this month.

I think a scooter is an excellent idea. However keep track of your use because lightweight models start at $800 and they don't cost much to maintain, so if you begin to rent them a lot consider getting your own. Fran has been through quite a few (I get all her hand-me-downs) but the rentals add up quick and you'd be surprised how often you might want one at home in the coming years....

OK...will do. Especially once retired, because we will be driving to WDW then, not flying.

DisneyFirefly, great!

Hi! DSis couldn't make thIs trip, a last minute family problem came up. I was glad to have a friend join me. She has a way to fly standby for only taxes! That's lucky! I found that walking in HEATwas hard, but we had a weather change during this visit, & for the most part, only my cane was necessary!

The topiaries & gardens were wonderful. My favorite (it was very hard to pick 1) was a winter fairy garden.

Please know I don't do it justice, but wanted something to remember!

Looking forward to more chats here! Today is my travel day. 2 more hours until my ME pickup.

How is everyone today?

Most of our scooters are portable. They disassemble into four parts and the heaviest piece is no more than 25 lbs. One will fit in the trunk of our Malibu. We can get three scooters easily in our large SUV and not as easily in a small SUV. Once I get back from the upcoming trip I will need to start thinking about the actual dates of this trip (and Aulani).

 Still coughing up a storm. But otherwise, I managed to put in my first full day at work today.

:wave2: I'm really so sick of this cough. :sad2:

How are you and how's the new addition?

Are you STILL hacking? I hope not!

I'll be in NJ for a bit the week after next. DSis is leaving for the Azores for 4 months!!!! She'll be enjoying a well deserved rest from caretaking. I'm just going for a bit to assure Mom and Uncle that they haven't been abandoned. The best news is also the new Grandbaby and his parents will be with me for awile. They want a bit of a get away, and of course, I'll sit while they can enjoy some of the sites of Cape May!
