On Jacqueline's blog she says that she has been told by mutual friends that Teresa was in on this plan. That she knew weeks ahead of time and never warned Melissa.
And the producers tweeted that "to our knowledge Teresa was not involved in "strippergate", but that doesn't mean she wasn't.

I 100% believe that Teresa was a part of this. Jacqueline tweeted that she had asked her at some point to do the same thing to Melissa.
Teresa wanted this man to ask Melissa if she recognized him, and she wanted to then tell Melissa what she had heard (on camera) and go out and tell the guy off (with Melissa in tow so that the creepy man and her would argue and it would be revealed to everyone that he claimed she used to dance for him) so that it looked to viewers at home like she was standing up for Melissa and protecting her family. That's why she gets upset when she finds he's gone. She tells Kim "that's messed up" and later says "I wanted to confront him with Melissa" (or something similar). When there is no reaction at the table from Melissa, and she isn't freaking out or telling the other ladies what went on, Kim D comes over to try to stir the pot a little. Every minute of it smells like set up, and whether or not Teresa is the one who orchestrated it, she knew something was going down well ahead of time and made no attempt to warn Melissa or stop it. She was glad it was happening!
Think about it. If you were at a salon and someone comes up and tells you bad things about a close family member wouldn't you tell them off camera? Give them a heads up that this was filmed and he's making some ludicrous claims? And then at the dinner when he showed up at your table wouldn't you just stand up and say "No. Get out of here. I know what your trying to do." And wouldn't you be pissed at your friend for inviting him? She went back in and partied with Kim! Shouldn't she have been furious that this man showed up, and that Kim had included her in this setup? Teresa doesn't go to that salon! She has her hair and makeup done at home, but on that one day she decides to go and he just so happens to show up? At the very least she should be upset that Kim implicated her by inviting her to the salon, but she wasn't. Because she was going along with it.

To me the whole thing was overdramatized. It seemed like Bravo tried to make a big dramatic finale over something insignificant. And I think they told the cast what to do to make it a big deal.

Yes, the bald guy was creepy, but all he did was say hi to Mellissa. He didn't even say how he knew her in front of the whole group. When he came by the table then left, ladies could have rolled their eyes, said "Whatever" and forgotten about it.

I think Teresa was surprised by the whole thing, but somehow she knew Bravo wanted her to follow Mellissa to the bathroom and confront her about it. I could see warning Melissa (off camera) that the guy had an agenda and was talking about her, but Teresa just wouldn't let it drop.

Melissa acts like she doesn't care, but then calls Joe out of the blue? That seemed very contrived, like Bravo wanted her to do that.

I think some of the dramatic moments of RHoNJ past, like the Christening and some of the Daniel stuff, really happened naturally. I think Bravo wants to recreate it. How interesting would it be if, at the Posche fashion show, everyone just sat around awkwardly?

I totally agree with what you are saying.

I think Bravo created this set up. Tre knew that they wanted her to play in to the drama, so she did. Melissa went crying to her husband, knowing full well he would show up. Then whispering to him on what he should yell to his sister.

Jacqueline and Caroline didn't do themselves any favors either. The only one who didn't come off looking bad was Kathy.

This is how I think it happened. Things didn't happen quite the way Teresa planned so she didn't get the big reveal she wanted.

Even though I'm not a fan of Teresa at all, when I saw last week's episode, it was evident to me that Teresa was not part of this. It was all Kim and the Bravo producers. Teresa is not smart enough or a good enough actress to play off the surprise like she did.

However, after last night's episode, I'm not sure. I do think she knew something was going to go down, but maybe not the specifics. :confused3 It seemed that she had turned over a new leaf with Melissa and I really don't think she'd try to jeopardize that. Again, I hate to defend her in any way, but that's what my gut says.

Melissa. She was cool as a cucumber when Teresa confronted her in the bathroom. She didn't strike me as someone who had ANYTHING to hide. I completely believe she kind of recognized Angelo, but didn't know from where.

I don't think it's a big deal if Melissa was a stripper, but I don't think she was. She would have had people coming out of the woodwork after Season 1 saying that they worked with her -- or former "customers". And if it was something she did and/or was something she was trying to hide, she wouldn't have gone on a national television show to get outed. It took this sleazeball (a/k/a Kim's coke dealer) to say she was a dancer? What a crock. I'm not buying it.

I don't think Teresa set Melissa up -- I think it was the producers with the help of Kim.

With that said, Teresa is a real piece of work trying to turn that on to Jacqueline saying that maybe SHE was trying to set Teresa up? :lmao: She is a complete moron.

Also, is it just me, or does it bother anyone else that when we were watching last year's reunion, not only were they filming the next season already (not that that's surprising), but they had already finished up the entire next season? How can things not be fabricated and contrived? Makes me want to just give the whole thing up -- it's getting beyond ridiculous.

I agree with all of this. However they filmed Season 3 Reunion the day after the Posh fashion show that we just saw last night. That was not the end of filming. They continued to film Season 4 and actually filmed Teresa's Fabalini Party AFTER the fashion show and reunion show even though we saw it a couple of weeks ago.

Yup, all of this! But especially the bolded!

Now, if I was out and about and I ran into someone who told me those things about my sister in law who I supposedly loved so much and was trying to mend my relationship with, I would have called her right up or gone to see her and said "Hey, look, I want to let you know that I just ran into this guy who told me these things about you. I just want you to know." But no, Teresa turns on the fake smiles and hugs and kisses and "Honeys" all over the place and waits for it to go down.

Perhaps she planned all of this BEFORE Napa when things were still rocky and it was too late to stop it. I honestly think that she knew about it. She got very upset when Melissa started to call Joe.

Andy Cohen talked about the reunion and said that he ended up with bronzer all over him so I wonder if he had to hold one of them back from hitting the other. My guess is it was Teresa. She's a piece of work! Should be interesting.

I do feel bad however for the elder Gorga's. Their only 2 children aren't speaking to each other. It must be very stressful. I did read either on here or another site that Teresa told her parents that Melissa used to be a stripper and that's one of the main reasons that her brother isn't speaking to her. Very sad to see a family fall apart over something as stupid as jealousy.

Now, take this with a grain of salt, Im just going to report what I heard. My sister's friend works for RH of Miami so this info supposedly comes from producers, but again, grain of salt as I cannot attest to any of it.

Apparently, each year the producers, Housewives, etc get together to kind of plan out the next season. They look at what loose ends to tie up and how to can follow up with storylines. Many times, there are feuds between the women but they aren't up to airing in publically or Bravo doesn't want to air it publically so they kind of manufacture stories to account for the animosity.

Im hearing that the reason Jaq is so upset with Tre is not because of magazine articles, etc. Apparently Jaq was in talks for some endorsement deals but Tre signed on to endorse similar products. Bravo didn't want to air that on tv because it wouldn't fit Jaq;s "character" of the kind, stay at home wife so they used this magazine thing. They know, like good employees, they have to follow Bravo directives and follow the storyline. This accounts to why this argument never makes real sense and why Tre sometime sounds unable to defend herself. Its like she gets stuck because she can't really say what she wants to. Just like the story of the "jokes" in the cookbook. Made up to cover up the true fight (whatever that may be)

There was a producer named Cat(Rodriquez, I think) who had gotten very chummy with Melissa and Jaq. Talk is she had been picking and choosing and editting as she saw fit . This Cat is no longer on RHONJ. Apparently she was fired and is now working as a runner on some other station.

The reason they started filming Season 4 right after 3 was because Bravo thought the riffs between Tre and Melissa were getting better and they wanted to keep that going. Unfortunately, Season 3 episodes were being aired as they filmed 4. As the girls saw the episodes, problems would come back up but they couldn't be address on the shows they were filming. Does that make sense? So a lot of the stories, etc just don't make a lot of sense and much of it is editted and manufactured.

Jaq and Caroline definately hate Teresa, the thing is what they are showing and apparently what is the truth are 2 different things.

Again, grain of salt. I have no idea if this is true or gossip but it came from people working on RH of Miami.

I've heard this as well.

Also, if Caroline is SO disgusted with Posche Fashion show and no longer wants to attend, why is Posche having the next one on October 2nd at THE BROWNSTONE?

Caroline is a phony.

ETA: If you want to go by Jac's blog, she also said Teresa never spoke ill about her family and then suddenly changed her tune about that. Jac is the farthest thing from reliable. I think it's all of that boxed wine she mixes with her Xanax....

Also, all of the girls are still friendly with Kim D., not just Teresa.

Why would Teresa do that if she has gone to her brother before about rumors she had heard around town about Melissa, and asked Melissa about said rumors and it ended up blowing up in her face? The last time she did that it ended badly so why would she want to do that again? Her brother got pissed off at her for even asking such a question, so to her there was no point in bringing it up if it were just going to cause problems.

Teresa has never changed her spots when it comes to these things, she may not have been happy with what Kim D did, but why would she want to be around the jealous Caroline and scheming Jacqueline? Both of them are filled with anger, and hostility towards Teresa. Teresa wanted to LEAVE, but she didn't because her brother-in-law told her to stay, and so she did. So she hung out with Kim D, big deal. I wouldn't care.

Jacqueline contradicts herself in her blogs many times if you read her past blogs. And she is a bit bitter, all she used to do for a very long time is obsess over Teresa on twitter, bashing her only talking about her. It was and is very unhealthy since she still occasionally does it. I don't like any of the housewives on this show, but Teresa clearly was the target of trying to get her to look bad.

I wonder if they are all obligated in their contracts? Are they even filming now. Someone else on here said a few weeks ago that she saw Joe and Teresa at a restaurant and there was no film crew with them. Not sure.

From what I have heard, they are not going to film the episodes so close together (like season wise, they may wait a few months like they do with all the other housewives shows), apparently they are looking for a new housewife, and I believe I have heard rumored that Caroline is no longer going to be on the show. or is going to take a much smaller role.

I don't know if they are filming now but I read that the fashion show will not be filmed.

But why wouldn't she tell Melissa what went down to protect her image? Teresa is a total narcissist, you can't tell me she wouldn't want to make sure her brother knew she wasn't involved if she really wasn't. She should have gone to Melissa or her brother the moment she left that salon and said "Kim and I filmed at a salon today and some guy showed up on camera spreading rumors. I left as soon as I figured out what was going on. I think Kim is trying to set you/her up". She had to have known the moment that guy opened his mouth what was going on. Teresa doesn't get her hair and make up done there, so why would she suddenly go to a place that just so happened to have a guy that knew Melissa when she was a stripper? Teresa is pretty dumb, I'll giver her that, but she's not so stupid that she wouldn't figure out right away why Bravo was filming there that day, and she would have known that it made her look like she might be in on it. The fact that she didn't tell anyone anything off camera just makes her look even more guilty.
And after all the progress she's supposedly made with her family she wouldn't be angry at Kim for getting her involved in this mess?

Theresa got exactly what she wanted...the entire viewership is talking about Melissa being a stripper. She wasn't setting her up to expose her in front of anyone at the fashion show. What she did was all for the camera. She wants everyone in the world to think of Melissa as a two bit gold-digger stripper. Theresa wants the Court of Public opinion to see her as the doting wife, mother and bread-winner and Melissa as a gold-digging former stripper who is jealous of her and wants to ruin her relationship with her brother. Everything that was "exposed" to the camera has come out of Theresa's mouth in the past about Melissa. Every friend she has had heard the "Melissa was a stripper" straight from Theresa herself. If you no longer agree with Theresa's message...you're gone. She'll move on to a new audience with her old song and dance.

Theresa got Kim to be the heavy in her little scheme. They did it together. Theresa's ego/image won't allow her to be the one saying Melissa is a stripper, that's where Kim came in to play. Theresa gets her message out about Melissa and get's to claim to NOT be the one calling her a stripper on tv. Theresa wants to maintain to the world she is the innocent, sweet one, not a nasty skank former stripper. She'd love nothing more than to ruin her brother's marriage.

This makes a lot of sense if it is true. They all seemed to be so angry with each other, and it has never been clear why, in my opinion.

This has been an interesting read for me today.

http://famewhorgas.wordpress.com

Take with somewhere between a grain and a shaker of salt. Obviously the author has an ax to grind. However, lots of interesting info -- including that the real reason Jac is mad at T because she cost her endorsements (e.g., teeth whitening.)

Reunion sounds like it will be a gruesome pile on. And while I have issues with every woman on the show, I find Lauren to have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I wish she were not present.

I heard Kathy was out as well.

She's too normal and boring for this show. I think she has had it with the drama. She said last night everyone knew what was going on but her and she was ok with that. She said "So I just sat there and ate my salad!"

But why wouldn't she tell Melissa what went down to protect her image? Teresa is a total narcissist, you can't tell me she wouldn't want to make sure her brother knew she wasn't involved if she really wasn't. Teresa Giudice may reportedly be dropped from 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'

By Elizabeth Kwiatkowski, 09/24/2012

Teresa Giudice may be getting the ax from Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

"The network is looking to shake up the series next season and get rid of Giudice. Although she creates all the drama, the other Housewives hate her and her storyline is getting stale -- she holds on to the same grudges!" a source told Us Weekly in its latest October 1 issue.

Producers are "looking for a new, mean Jersey girl to replace her," according to the source.

Giudice, who also appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice's fifth season, severely clashed with Melissa Gorga during The Real Housewives of New Jersey's fourth season, which broadcast its fourth-season finale last night.

Gorga told Us she has no desire to reconcile with her sister-in-law unless Giudice admits she is behind claims Gorga was allegedly once a stripper, which Gorga insists is false.

Giudice's fellow Housewives and former friends Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita also reportedly completely cut ties with her following many arguments and falling outs.

I don't really know what to believe but I do know that Kim D is just plain manipulative and disgusting.

Teresa's not going anywhere. Kathy is gone though.

I just caught the end of lady nights episode that they just re-aired. Teresa did call Jacqueline the nasty C word! Classy! (that wasnt the C word she used!!) And didn't she just say on WWHL a few weeks ago when asked about Joe calling her that, that she was shocked because they don't use that word??? However she's used it twice! Once about Caroline in Napa and now Jac! Great example for your kids Teresa! Such a wonderful role model!
