OK, while I have watched this entire season CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME THE "DUMMIES" version as to what is really going on with Tre and Jacqueline?
TY I feel like I am missing something with those two.![]()
One evening Teresa went over to Jacqueline's to hang out. Jacqueline said that she had been reading in the tabloids that Teresa and/or Joe may go to jail and she is really confused/hurt that Teresa hasn't even so much as mentioned this to her. Teresa laughs it off that 1) it's not true and 2) it's none of Jacqueline's business. Jacqueline argues that friends tell each other things and Teresa says not private things.Next thing you know, Caroline is over there (supposedly returning something) and she gets into it with Teresa, too. Evidently, something was going on on Twitter where Danielle Staub had tweeted Teresa to say that her SIL (Melissa) had been in contact with her to give her dirt on her (Teresa) -- I guess that's where the "not giving her nephew a gift" comment originated from on that reunion episode. Anyhow, I guess Teresa had tweeted back, "Thank you, Danielle!" As in thank you for confirming that I knew Melissa was feeding you information, but Jacqueline and Caroline were upset with Teresa that she even acknowledged Danielle's presence by responding to the tweet (given all that had transpired with Danielle and Ashley, etc.). So that was a big part of the fight, but I think it just comes down to that Jacqueine and Teresa have different ideas of what a friendship is. Teresa is a very "on the surface" kind of friend and Jacqueline has higher expectations as far as sharing more intimate details of your life. So, they really do have some fundamental differences as far as what they want/expect from a friendship. That's my take on it anyway!
keep in mind the footage of their California trip happened months ago. She's had a while to prepare for this.
The episodes shown thus far make it seem like there is a possible rekindling of the relationship between Jacqueline and Teresa. Yes they had that disagreement/fight at Jacquelines house but I think there is an ever bigger falling out that is yet to be shown (hence why Jacqueline didn't show up for last seasons reunion episode).
I believe the incident that causes the rift that we see today (i.e. if you watch What Happens Live and Jacquelines blogs, etc. she doesn't say ANYTHING nice about Teresa) occurs due to an incident with Melissa - see below.
"What happened, exactly, to make enemies of the two former friends? It appears that the longtime rivalry between Teresa, 39, and her sister-in-law, new cast member Melissa Gorga, has gotten so out of hand that Teresa's friends can't take it anymore. Things came to a head during filming last week, when Gorga was reportedly ambushed on camera about her past job at a strip club.
"Bravo's surprise at the fashion show was for Melissa: her ex-boss at Lookers, the strip club she used to work at," a source told The Huffington Post's Rob Shuter. "No one knew him, no one knew he was coming -- although, of course Bravo had a microphone on him -- and Melissa ran away from him and refused to film with him. The producers made Teresa talk to him to 'hear him out,' so his accusations would be aired on camera, but Teresa stopped him mid-story and told him to not talk about her family and left."
Here's where the story splits into two versions. Version No. 1, as told to HuffPo: Melissa didn't want her "new besties" Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline to know about her stripper past, so she told them that Teresa had set her up. To get back at Teresa, Jacqueline leaked the press a picture of Teresa's husband, Joe Giudice, having dinner with another woman. (RadarOnline has the photo.)
Got that? Okay, here's version No. 2: Teresa knew all along that Melissa worked at a strip club -- as a bartender, not a stripper -- and "played dumb" so that Bravo could ambush Melissa in front of the whole cast. Teresa then accused Jacqueline of leaking the pictures of her husband and the other woman -- even though Jacqueline had tried to warn Teresa. This is the version put forward by Laurita on her Twitter account, where she has also posted screenshots of a text message conversation with Teresa that she claims proves her innocence. (The conversation is in bits and pieces, but you can read a pieced-together version at LALate.)"
