Juicy Joe is a complete idiot … BUT I think he is suffering with some kind of depression. We all know they have had allot on their plate, he does not look healthy to me at all. Overweight, would rather sleep on Christmas morn and once they drag him downstairs, he watches the kids open their presents and he wants to go back to bed … something is wrong with that picture. Between family issues, work issues, court issues … things just have not been good for him at all. I have watched all the NJ seasons, Juciy was a different guy when the show started. Allot more happy, allot more loving. Now he never has a nice thing to say about anyone. Yup, depression.

I think we'll probably find out that the "Christmas morning" scenes were staged by Bravo. I remember when watching "Jon & Kate plus 8", they had a "Christmas morning" scene. Turns out, it was all staged and filmed months before. I have a feeling that Juicy Joe is just tired of having to be on camera all the time. And he really didn't want to put in a lot of effort for that scene.

Ashley, just an ungrateful child. period. You know Lauren and Ashley are very close in age … I wonder why there is no relationship there at all? AND does anyone know if Lauren is still with her boyfriend, Vito? He did not seem to be around at all for any of the holiday festivities.

They have said on the show before that Ashley and all 3 of Caroline's kids get along great. But they don't show that to us because the kids aren't the focus of the show.

And I'm pretty sure Vito was sitting right next to Lauren at the Alexa Ray show.

Caroline, come on now. We have all had crowds to our homes, we have all had to stand over the stove all day and prepare meals and get the table ready etc etc. BUT I really think she could have found 10 minutes to throw some water on her face, throw on a nice white blouse, black slacks and throw a comb through her hair (before the first guests arrived) … just to me seemed so odd that for a holiday get together she looked like she had just come from cleaning the garage and was on her way to cleaning the basement.

I thought both "gift" scenes with the Manzo's were very touching. Clearly, those people have MONEY. But they really seem to make the effort to be thoughtful and kind and although I'm sure those bracelets cost a fortune, I thought it was a beautiful gift and beautifully designed. And Albert's proposal was classic. What a nice thing to do.

What cracked me up was the way they were showing snow in one scene, none in the next, then snow, then none. I understand that editing can be tricky, but it did NOT snow on Christmas Eve or Christmas Eve in Northern NJ. the 26th, however, was another story. I'll be interested to see if they incorporate the 3' of snow we got on the 26th/27th into the story next week.

Haha - I thought the same thing about the snow. It did not snow on Christmas Eve this past year...clearly this was filmed and edited together to make it look like a "white christmas." I dont think they really filmed Christmas morning either...the snow wasn't matching up at all....

Am I the only one who thought the presents people brought for Melissa's 'charity' Christmas party were kind of crappy? I think Bravo or Melissa put them up on those shelves to try to make it look like a lot...but considering all the people that were in that house? A mighty small haul for spending $50k , Joe should have just written the check straight to the 'sick children', all that money would have bought a lot of medicine, food, gifts...I'm just sayin'.

Hey, maybe Kim G. should have taken the money she paid for that so-called bodyguard and bought some toys instead.

You're right. I've been to Chamber of Commerce Christmas mixers that had more and better toys donated. Those mixers cost much less than $50,000, too.

I have not read through all the posts here, but I did just watch tonight's episode. Does anyone else here want to throttle Ashley. What a lazy, disrespectful twit she is. I just can't even stand the sight of her. When her grandfather came in to talk with her, she wouldn't even stop drawing to look at him and show some ounce of respect of having a mutual conversation. If I came in to talk to my child and was treated the way she treats her mother, step-father, grandparents, etc., I'd flip my shi$ on that kid.

The thing that makes me the most frustrated about Ashley is that Jacqueline lets her be the way she is because she "comes from a broken home." Give me a freaking break! Most kids now are and they aren't spoiled disrespectful little witches! She needs to be forced to live on her own and fend for herself.

Spoiled children become spoiled adults and that's never good!! Kathy and her husband seem to have done a good job with those kids. You could tell that Kathy would have been perfectly happy with just the letter that her daughter wrote her. You can tell they are good kids who respect their parents, unlike Ashley. I just can't get over how Jacqueline and Chris spoil that girl. They aren't doing her any favors by giving her everything she wants. She clearly hasn't been taught any sense of responsibility or respect and for that, I blame the parents! I'm sure Ashely will be the perfect role model for Teresa's spoiled children when they get older!

Is it just me or do the things Kathy's kids do seem forced? Don't get me wrong, they are worlds better than Ashley, but some of the stuff they do and say seem prompted to me.

I like how Lauren gave her an art job opportunity and she blew it off like Lauren had some nerve giving her instructions. Ashley is a train wreck, and at this point her parents should just kick her out.

Theresa really came off like a witch last night. She was mean to Melissa, mean to Kathy, and just came off awful all around. The only person she seems to listen to at all is Caroline.

Is it just me or do the things Kathy's kids do seem forced? Don't get me wrong, they are worlds better than Ashley, but some of the stuff they do and say seem prompted to me.

I wonder if its because they aren't used to the cameras yet. This is their first season so maybe we will see them loosen up a little next year.

Theresa really came off like a witch last night. She was mean to Melissa, mean to Kathy, and just came off awful all around. The only person she seems to listen to at all is Caroline.

I was going to say the same thing.

She was on the aftershow with Jerry O'Connell. He kept saying that Melissa was trying to make things better with Theresa's family but Theresa just blew it off and kept saying "not until this episode".

Ummm...let's see-on the prior episode she is the one who made her husband show up at Theresa's house. Otherwise, he would not have gone.

I can't figure Teresa out at all-I mean, is she just terribly jealous of Melissa? Does she have some type of weird relationship in her mind with her brother? She really is sooo mean to her. She didn't have one nice thing to say to Melissa while at her house. EVERYTHING is a competition and a snide remark. At the beginning of the season I felt badly for Teresa but she's just out of her mind now. She really is acting horribly!

I get the impression that Theresa is holding on by a thread. I think all this pretending that everything is a-okay and that there's nothing happening with all their legal problems is starting to eat at her. Melissa is just a convenient target.

Theresa and Joe have shown their true colors this season, and it's not pretty. And was anyone else surprised by some of the language Bravo allowed when Joe and Richie were exchanging insults?
