Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

I agree, Honnydipp! Marisa REALLY should stop being so mean about her husband. Then again, maybe he's used to it. Maybe he's heard it for the past 16 years and he just lets it roll off his back.

Faye? Oh heavens...that woman is awful. Seriously, if she becomes a regular (and they keep bringing her in on the shows...she's practically a regular already), I may have to stop watching. She is hideous. She just likes to start things (of course, I've read that the producers pretty much require that the women have conflicts...apparently no one would want to watch a show where people are actually NICE to each other).

I like Brandi. She seems pretty honest (although what do we really know about any of them?) and she's just out there, in a fun sort of way.

Love Lisa and her sweet n' funny husband Ken. They are a lovely couple and I enjoy them.

I'm not so fond of Kyle. I think she's pretty fake.

Taylor is a trainwreck. I would like to feel compassion for her, but she's just a pathetic, really. It's always ALL ABOUT HER.

Kim is rather pitiful, too, and I really want to like her, but she needs more help. I think Kyle is terribly cold toward her...maybe she's always harbored a secret envy of her sister ever since Kim was a child star...

I liked Adrienne (and Paul) when the show first started. I thought A was the only one who didn't like to stir the pot, but now she's become bigger than life and oh-so-important in her own head. She's got a vindictive, mean streak that makes her extremely unlikable.

I adore Yolanda...the only voice of reason (of course, she's new to the show so she hasn't been corrupted yet...let's hope she stays as cool as she is).

I honestly don't think it was Kyle who brought in Faye, if anyone has done their research about how Bravo does things they seem to like to control certain situations, like for example when Cedric came to Lisa's opening party last year I suspect Bravo invited him to stir up drama. I think the producers knew that Kim could not come, and all the other producers knew so they thought to invite Faye in hopes of creating some drama in the group. And if that's not the case than I think Adrienne asked Faye to come because Adrienne loves it when Faye is being rude to people.

I don't like Adrienne, though I don't believe that Brandi is being sued per se, I think she got a letter that basically says "stop talking about such and such or THIS will happen", I forgot what you call those. In the previews for next week (extended ones), I thought I heard Paul say it was one of those kinds of letters. Like a warning of some sort? I could be wrong.

I don't like how demanding Lisa was of Kyle to apologize and say all these things to her, that's not Lisa's job she is not in charge of Kyle. Personally that is extremely manipulative of Lisa, and it isn't right. Lisa can stick up for herself just fine, I don't understand this mentality of always needing people to be on your side. It's silly and juvenile.

I don't like Brandi, I think she exaggerates the truth, which to me is untrustworthy. She has no filter, but that doesn't give her the right to say mean things whether they are truthful or whatever. She is 40 it's time for her to grow up, she is going to end up in the future having a lot more lawsuits if she can't grow up. I know she's not exactly the smartest crayon in the box (i do not find her even remotely educated.)

I don't like Taylor she is a huge hot mess, I mean who forgets that their child is with somebody else! in the next episode she totally forgets that Kyle has her child, and is like "oh what? you have my child?! okay!" like there was no concern at all, I heard she is supposed to be leaving. I hope this is true.

I don't like Yolanda. She's so uptight and really hypocritical.

Marisa is okay, I still don't know her that well.

the first time I saw Marissa's husband was when they were at that party and Maurico was attacking Brandi. He was sitting next to Brandi, so close that I thought he was with her. I was surprised to see that he was married to Marissa. He actually looks miserable around her.

Ive NEVER liked Faye. Ever since the OJ Simpson trial, she struck me as an opportunist. Cant stand her.

I'm not a big Taylor fan but I must admit that I loved her last night needling Adrienne. It was hysterical!! Taylor was right that last year it was Adrienne & Paul who led the charge that friends don't sue friends and Taylor & Russell should leave the White Party. Listen if you received a letter from an attorney demanding you cease & desist and threatening you if you say anything about Adrienne or her family - you would be worried & hire an attorney. And who determines what Brandy can say or not say? So long as its the truth. Hey Adrienne this is America we have a little thing called freedom of speech last I looked it wasn't the United States of Maloof.

We should start a Champaign on Bravo that we do not want Faye on or we won't watch. I can not stand her.

Oh I forgot one of the best items from last night Brandy saying Adrienne's chef Bernie sold a story to Radar Online the day after Brandy & Adrienne's fight saying exactly what Adrienne accused Brandy of the night before (being drunk in front of her kids) . And Adrienne coming to Bernie's defense. HMMM Didn't Bernie post some bogus photos of Adrienne's supposed bruises that Paul allegedly caused. Paul sued Bernie for defamation etc.. Adrienne seems to be the one having her people sell stories to tabloids.

I also think that Brandi is not being sued by Adrienne. Being sued and sending a letter that says watch your mouth is two different things.

Do we really know what comes out of Brandi's mouth is true? Most likely it's not all true. People that act like her usually exaggerate issues or statements. People can't just talk out their yoohoo and not have consequences. I don't believe she is spending lots of money defending herself with a lawyer. I do believe she took a letter to the lawyer to look at (didn't cost a lot of money), and as long as she doesn't talk smack she will be okay (no need for a lawyer).

Brandi runs her mouth and I find it humorous but I am not sure I would trust he as a friend. She is to easy to call you out. If I had a personal conversation with her that is between her and I and I would not want her to put me on the spot like she did Camille. I can understand why Camille was upset that she told a secret conversation.

But Camille is just nasty. The way she walks into a room she thinks she is it. I don't like her and I am so glad that Lisa came right back at her and said you are right I own 51%. To me that is owning.

I'm with you -- I find Brandi humorous, but I don't condone her actions. I was completely on her side last night, though. Adrienne is not only a liar, but a terrible liar. She isn't very articulate, so the whole denying the letter thing (not just denying an actual lawsuit -- but denying that a letter was even sent) didn't come across as very believable. I'm sure even Camille didn't buy it, but acted like she did in defense of Adrienne.

I also thought last week's episode was nuts about Camille trying to make a point that Lisa didn't really own SUR because she only owned 51% -- ummm, that's the majority (and usually controlling) interest! Duh!

I also agree with whoever said that that was insane that Lisa was demanding that Kyle apologize to her. She might feel she deserves an apology but you can't talk to another grown woman like you would a child. That was odd.

The previews for next week with Taylor not knowing where her daughter was -- how pathetic. :sad2:

Yeah but Adrienne denied even having a letter sent. Whether she was in the process of suing her or was threatening to sue her is splitting hairs. She shouldn't start even talking about suing Brandi. Wasn't it her and Paul that kept saying friends don't sue friends?

I did notice in the previews Brandi says something about x amount of money (like I don't have 10000) and Adrienne responds with something like "then you should learn to keep your mouth shut". That tells me she did, at the very least, send a threatening letter.

Yolanda's blog has some pretty good comments too. There's one about Kyle, Faye and Camille kissing Adrienne's butt.

I agree with this. Taylor sent the same kind of letter to Camille last year and everyone started throwing the word sue around... It seems like kind of a general word for this kind of thing to them.

I do think its super hypocritical. When Camille's lawyer told her to stay away from Taylor in response to the letter everyone backed her up. When Brandi's lawyer said not to call or contact Adrienne people are all "you don't have to listen to your lawyer. Call her!"

As soon as Brandi brought up having the letter Adrienne sent her eyes got all big and she tried to change the subject to a Tweet. I don't understand why she thinks she will get away with a lie when there is a paper trial!

Of course she did.

In addition to being a liar, she's not very bright.

Also, Adrienne must have threaten something to get Bravo to not air what Brandi said. I mean its not like Bravo is above airing personal family stuff. Russell killed himself before the season and they still stuck with the plan to vilify the man (with no proof he did most of what was claimed). Why did the line get draw with Adrienne?

Because she's really rich!

Not like Taylor & Russell who put on an act.

Its all kinds of hypocritical. She was calling Brandi all kinds of things about that tweet when, in reality, it seems it IS true that Bernie was selling info. In the meantime, she is sitting there with Lisa, who she accused FALSELY, on NATIONAL TV of selling stories.

Adrienne not only sent a letter but from what I understand, it included an agreement she was expecting Brandi to sign with threats if she didn't sign it. When someone with that much money and power comes after you (for actually saying something that although personal, was TRUE), you bet you should get a lawyer to defend you. AND the letter was sent to Brandi's lawyer.

She probably thought she would get away with it because she has more money and power than Brandi. People usually must back down when she pulls the lawyer out. I doubt she pulls that card with anyone that has the money to fight her.

To answer my own question about Lisa actually owning SUR, when I was watching Vandepump Rules (:rotfl2: yup, I watch that too), she said something to the effect of "I help the owner run this place".....
So even if the other person only owns 49% I guess Lisa and this other person are both owners? :confused3

Rumor has it, Bravo is done with Adrienne over the threats. They were going to dump Taylor last year, but felt it would be insensitive because of Russell's death. Supposedly, they're both out of there..:thumbsup2

After watching some of the reruns, I get the feeling that Adrienne and Paul had asked/told Bravo and the rest of the girls to not say anything about the surrogacy. The reaction from both of them when Kim told them that Brandi had mentioned it was huge. Adrienne's immediate response was "there is going to be a huge lawsuit"! Since it was Brandi metioning it, I think they had their lawyer send a cease and desist letter. Had Bravo allowed it to be aired might have caused a huge lawsuit against them.

I just want to know how Brandi's lawyers expense went from 2k to 20k three weeks later?!

Just a gut feeling.

Oh please. If you received a threatening letter from some one as rich and powerful as Adrienne you also would go to an attorney. Lisa saw the letter and mentioned that Brandy had to spend $10,000 on an attorney. I would love for Brandy to show the letter

I don't like how demanding Lisa was of Kyle to apologize and say all these things to her, that's not Lisa's job she is not in charge of Kyle. .

I think the big problem Lisa has with Kyle is that Kyle is always ready to jump to Adrienne's defense but not once did Kyle or anyone else really take Adrienne on when she lied about Lisa selling a story. Every episode Kyle or Camille is bringing up poor Adrienne.

If Brandi had to spend $10,000 on a lawyer, than it was probably because she can't keep her mouth shut. Also, Brandi has an new worth of about 5 million so she isn't really hurting. I'm pretty sure she probably spends more than that on clothes in a year.
