"Real" coffee

is it only at the table service restaurants that you can get real coffee (not nescafe?) Is there any other places other than our rooms making it ourself? Dh and I HAVE to have coffee in the morning (I know terrible addiction but it is our only one) and the thought of nescafe does not entice me!! LOL

I hate to break it to you, but I think most of the TS restaurants serve the same Nescafe!

At Kona Cafe (Poly), you can get Kona coffee, they also have a press pot of coffee at Boma (AKL). I can't think of any other restaurants where I definitely know they serve better coffee than Nescafe, but I might just not know.

I like good coffee as well, but even the bad coffee seems to taste a *little* better at WDW, so I just drink whatever they have if I'm not at the Poly! Then I definitely get the Kona!

The Poly has a take-out coffee/pastry place in the mornings (it changes to sushi at night) -- it's on the 2nd floor of the Grand Ceremonial House near the doors to the monorail -- right outside the Kona Cafe. They have "to go" cups! I'll be stopping there on my way to the monorail or the parking lot in the AMs! Depending on where you're staying though, it might not be very convenient!

well I just went to starbucks and bought a bag of ground coffee I have not bought ground coffee in so long as we grind our own beans for a fresh pot daily (yes I am a coffee snob....I can't help it I like what I like)

Thanks for this info! DH will be VERY happy to know this. We have mostly stayed at Poly so we always stopped at Kona in the mornings... but this year we are going to be at AKL so it will be nice to know where else we can go!

from my experience, the signature restaurants have good coffee. I had good coffee at Cali Grill, Citircos, Jiko, and V&A

The coffee is wonderful at V&A. And it is brewed right at your table.
