T-shirt transfers. Can you stand one more question? I'm ready to pack it in. I'm giving it one more chance. I have been trying to print those wonderful graphic names. First, I had to resize because the size I got from My Pictures is too big for my DGD6's t-shirt. So, I copied into Word to resize. So, I thought, why waste all that paper. I put 3 different names on one page. OK, fine so far. Printed fine, held up to shirt, size, fine. Was going to print on light transfer and decided that I should print on dark because one of the other names will not be going on white. Set up, used t-shirt transfer setting but DID NOT tell it to rotate! Did not print on paper this time because I didn't tell it to rotate. WRONG! It rotated anyway. Wasted dark transfer.(right? No way to save it? Can you iron it on the same way as light?) Now what? Even though I don't rotate and the picture on the print screen isn't flipped, it still is wrong. So, how do I get it to un-flip? Or can the printer "pull" the transfer paper through if I tell it that it is printing on plain paper instead of transfer paper? Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated!!

Yes I think if you do NOT want it to flip, then you have to choose just regular paper, or cardstock for your printer settings. Mine automatically flips if I choose transfer paper.
The printer should still pull the transfer paper through...even if you just set it on regular paper.

I don't *think* there is anything to do to save your dark transfer that is messed up..Sorry! But then again, I've just started printing my transfers TODAY so obviously I do not have a lot of experience! :rotfl:

Don't give up!

I only used dark transfers. Didn't tell my HP printer that I was printing on transfer paper. Just printed like I would any other document. No images were reversed (thank goodness)!

I believe you're saying that your image is "inside out" or reversed - NOT that you printed on the wrong side of the transfer, correct?

hope this helps.

don't give up yet!

OK, thanks for your help. I just printed my design without telling my printer that it was transfer paper. Worked fine. I was afraid it would be too thick to work like regular paper. But no problems!:yay: :yay: I finished 5 t-shirts tonight! Done - finally!! (For now. We're leaving soon on a cruise so I will not be afraid to make more.

Thanks!
