Hi! My name is Debbie and my husbands name is Michael. We live in New York and travel a couple times throughout the year. We have been married since May 31st, 2009, and this will be our first trip to Disney World. We are staying at Pop Century Resort in a preferred room. We are really looking foward to going and are counting down the days. 47 as of today!:)

We decided to do the deluxe dining plan. I have been planning our dining reservations for the past few months. I think I have changed our reservations numerous times. My husband thinks that I am crazy about these reservations. :surfweb:

Here is where we are eating:

September 1st- Lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe at 2:45 pm. We land at 1 pm, and hope that we will be able to make it to our reservation on time. I love 50's Prime Time Cafe and hope that we can a waiter/waitress who is really into the theme. I have really built up this restaurant to my husband and hope we are not disappointed.

For Dinner that night we are eating at Cittrico's at 9:50 pm. Hopefully, we can have a table near the window to see Wishes. If not, we will sit down, and then immediately go out on the viewing deck.

Friday September 2- For breakfast, we are eating at the Grand Floridian Cafe at 7:50 am. We will then go to Epcot and have lunch at San Angel Inn at 1:10 pm. I really like San Angel Inn from the past times we have gone to Disney, and hope that it is still as good. I have been reading reviews on DisBoards that state that it is not good anymore, hopefully they are wrong.

For dinner, we are eating at Flying Fish Cafe at 7:10 pm. We hope that we can finish dinner with enough time to get back to Epcot and see Illuminations at 9:00 pm.

Saturday September 3- For breakfast, we are eating at Cape May Cafe at 8:35 am. We are then going to take the boat to Magic Kingdom and spend the day there. I love the Magic Kingdom, and am excited to go back. We are having lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern at 12:05 pm. I have read so many good reviews, and hope that it can live up to all the good things that I read on disboards. Dinner that night, we are eating at Ohana at 5:15 pm. I would have liked to eat later, but I read that the later you eat, the longer of a wait it is for a table, and decided not to risk it. I don't know how we are going to eat all of this food, but we will try.

Sunday September 4- For breakfast, we are eating at Crystal Palace at 8:05 am at the Magic Kingdom. I have eaten lunch and dinner there in the past, and decided to try breakfast there this time. This day, we decided to skip lunch, and have an early dinner at Boma at 5:00 pm. My husband cousins who live in Florida are havnig dinner with us and asked us to eat early.

Monday September 5th- For breakfast we are eating at Kona Cafe at 7:30 pm. I have been debating about having either the macadamian nut pancakes or the tonga toast. They both look really good, I guess I will decide then and there. I wish my husband liked sweet things, so no sharing. For dinner, we are eating at California Grill at 5:30 pm. I wanted a later reservation, but there have not been any available.

Tuesday September 6th- For breakfast, we are going to 1900 Park Fare at 8:10 am. Since we are leaving this day, we are going to also pick up sandwhiches at Earl of Sandwhich for the plane ride home. I learned on disboards that I can use my triple A card for a 15% discount.

There will be snack credits used along the way and there may be changes made. Who knows what will happen when we are in Disney. I will add the result when we get back from Disney.

Nice plans, but just a couple of notes.

9/1 you land at 1 pm; no way are you going to make a 2:45 ADR at 50sPT unless someone is picking you up at the gate and driving you straight to DHS (and you have no luggage). 1 pm landing realistically means at least 1:15 before you actually get off the plane. Then you have to take the monorail to the main terminal, walk down to ME, and wait for the bus for your resort. I'd figure on it being 2:30 - 3 pm before you walk in the doors at POP. You still have to get your package with your Keys to the World, drop your carry-on bags at the room, and catch the bus to DHS.

Could you switch the ADR until around 4 pm? Your Citricos dinner is so late that you'd probably be hungry again by then. Unless you're falling asleep by 10 pm that first night; it happens. And Ohana is not the only restaurant that can 'fall behind'. A 9:50 ADR does not mean you are going to be seated right at 9:50. Especially if Wishes is at 10 pm; earlier diners are apt to dally a bit so that THEY get to see Wishes from their tables.

9/3: Breakfast at Cape May - boats from BC/YC go to Epcot and DHS. There is no boat to MK. You will have to go to the front of the resort and take the bus, which shares with several other resorts. You are very unlikely to arrive at the MK before 10 am and may not actually get there until closer to 11.

Have to agree with everything that Quin said.

Re: breakfast at Cape May. I know it's late ADR wise, but I would re think this one. It's always risky to eat a TS breakfast relatively far from either your resort or the park you plan to be in that day, due to the time it takes for travel. You are already having breakfasts at GF and Poly. I doubt you would be able to get an early ADR at CP or Chef Mickey. How about at the Wave at the Contemporary, or Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL? That would put you really close to the MK. Just a suggestion.

I vote for the Macadamia nut pancakes at Kona.

I have to agree that you will not make that 50's ressie. Can you push it back an hour? 50's is a favorite of ours.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation. Sounds like you've make lots of great dining choices.:goodvibes
