Ready for December 2005

I just made my room only ressies and my 3-night cruise ressie for Dec 2005. We are taking the boys out of school (1st time ever) and going the 2nd-11th. We are doing this in leu of the usual presents etc. We will be back for Christmas at home, but this trip will be our present to each other. I plan on getting some Dinsey Dollars for the boys (15 and 12) and let them spend them on the things they would like. Can't wait to see Disney dressed up for Christmas. We are staying at the CBR and have a Cat 6 with a verandah for the cruise. We are keeping it a secret from the boys until sometime next summer. Will need a special way to tell them.

We booked with Dreams Unlimited (thanks Sandy for putting up with my many questions) but haven't ever done this so far in advance. Any thing we should think about with it being so far away?

Nice to see you are going in December 2005 too, Blythep!! We are doing a 7 night Eastern cruise on the Magic (cat.5 and 11) and then WDW as well. It is good to hear that you are keeping it a secret from your kids until next summer. I am such a wimp and got so excited that I spilt the beans as soon as I booked it...LOL
I am so excited to see WDW and the GF at Christmas too! We went last year in October for Halloween and MNSSP, and now this next visit for Christmas decorations and MVMCP! And I say, it is never too early to start saving, planning and dreaming about our trips!!
If you get a chance, the cruise boards and trip reports are a great learning experience. Especially for us, since we are first time cruisers ever!
