Turning the page.... and just looking at Nab's ticker... my trip is at the same time ! Who hoo!

Today I am putting away the Christmas decoration and wrappings. I wish Utahmama would post and tell me what decor I should have now? snowmen? straight on to Valentines?????:cutie:

Keep it simple till the end of January. Pack all the Xmas away and donate the stuff you tend to store but dont use (like to a Salvation Army or Goodwill). Unsure if there's any "trends" I should be aware of for VDay this year. Sometimes they'll stick in a purple trend to throw everyone for a loop. Stick with your bight red and different shades of pink. Add some white, if you want.

If you live in a snowy climate or wish you did, you can leave up your snowmen. I do, and my old school wooden/metal sleds stay up through January. MY tree is still up. It's so pretty, I want to wait another week. I had kept it up when Jordan (DS17) just came home for Chapter 2 of Christmas (he was at his dad's).

:santa: Christmas OUT!

There are FASHION TRENDS for Vday decorating???? :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Who knew?????????????????

I have to honestly say, I have never worried about what decorations to put up in January, LOL. Or any other month of the year, except for Christmas (well, I don't worry about Christmas, I know what to put up).

so you are saying that putting the box the tree comes in in the middle of the room is the way to go.... ;)

so that would be basically everything my husband owns.... books, "collectibles", ball caps, sports cards....:rotfl2:

where does one look for these trends????? Red looks really good in my house and I love pink. I don't normally do anything for Valentines (I do decorate for Easter, Fall and Christmas) but I am thinking of adding it because my house isn't nearly as festive with all the Christmas gone... My little princesses were born the day before Valentines so now that holiday is very special to me :cutie: :cutie:

I thought about doing the whole snowman thing but this year I am just not feeling it. Saw some good looking towels at Target:love: too bad I am on a spending freeze! (Don't worry I did spring for the diapers I needed;) )

HEY, we DID take it out of the box finally.
Now getting it back in is another story...............

Just keep it up Marita, maybe add some more fruit to it , some hearts for Valentines day.:rotfl2:

Lil'G-- I am so glad you made resolutions that you can keep...I told hubby I wouldn't buy to much on the cruise. I think I tell him that about WDW too but he knews me and I will bring some stuff home with me. Pictures for sure.

Poor Moo is getting rained on , nothing worse then rain all day while your there. It is cold too. Hope she isn't getting worse with her cold.

Twinkie-- glad you bought the diapers. I won't let Hannah feed Baby Alive because we don't have anymore diapers for it. She can pretend to feed it. It says the same things and her mouth moves so she is ok with that so far. I just re read that don't stop feeding your son it doesn't work the same way..:rotfl2:

PSA, in case you haven't seen it, Zzub posted an new chapter. He was not a happy camper.............

Thanks NAB for the great parenting advice.... I am :lmao: and :rotfl2:
don't worry I did feed Little Man tonight! Even gave him some milk!

Some Lady at Walmart, apparently the foremost authority on everything, told me that preemie diapers work wonderfully on the Devil Baby...Hmmmm? OH! I was talking to NAB, not you Twinkie...your baby is yummy...awkward...

I just read ZZUB's newest. He was mostly pissy/funny and it's really well done as usual. I wonder if I gave him an outline like the following if he'd work his non-pissy magic for ME!

Animal Kingdom day:
A. Cliff Clayborn manned the bus mic
1. put his mouth way too close to the mic
2. sounded spitty
B. Riley Rides EE????
C. Monkeys play Doctor...proctologists should wear gloves
D. Flights of Wonder Show
1. Frozen Meese
a. Meese's Pieces
E.Flame Tree for Lunch
1. yet more people fed the BIRDS their turkey
a. an abomination according to Lilo
F. bad toupee in the frozen lemonade line...off-putting!!!
G. Warthog section? Lion Section? Giraffe?

(Act surprised when my next chapter is posted, ok?)

Well, as Marita posted, it was a rainy day today, but we made do with our Mickey ponchos at Animal Kingdom, then MK. I'm just sitting at the RR station watching the castle change colors seeing people stream out.

It was still warm enough for us Michiganders to wear shorts (and sweatshirts)!!! Spectro is about to start.

I tried to post a photo, but had technical difficulties. Night all!

Hi Strommers! Just wanted to stop by and say this

Hope you're having a great time, Minnie Moo!!!! Pixie dust abounding!

Everyone else -- you have a great day, too!

Or you can do what many in Alaska do: leave up the outside lights all year long. Rather than take them down in the cold, snow, and darkness of winter, most leave them up at least until late spring. By then, you know fall's snows aren't too far away, so why bother with taking down lights? Just a tip from Handyman Sleepy. . .

howdy everyone..
Yesterday was a yuck day for us........one mom (mine) was at the wound center at one hospital and then I got a call from the HOME that mil was going by ambulance to the other one ......she has pnemonia and my mom has severe cellulitis that they are trying to keep under control......but she has new boo boos and was in alot of pain......so my mom comes back from ONE hospital and they kept my mil and she will be there for a few days...she looks so bad last night...my mom is 92 and his mom is 90 so they are both in their elderly stages......

Morning everyone...

Pumba-- Even if they are old, they are still your moms and it must be hard for you and your husband

SleepyDog-- nice to see you here. Did you do your tips on your report yet, I do leave in 23 days you know.

Actually in Canada you can see Christmas lights up all year round too. Some even still have them on at night. We took ours down on New Years Day because the weather was so nice. Don't want to be doing it in the freezing cold.

UMA-- You are to funny. Does that mean the next chapter is on the way.

Moo-- glad to here you are feeling better. Hope the sun is shining today.

I know Shelby but I could turn the page and it would be right back there.

Your ticker is looking mighty good though Shelby. Are you are ready? Do you have a game plan or are you just going with the flow.

Moo weather report: pretty good day, partly sunny, partly cloudy, 70's

Marita work report: Carpy, to say the least. The lovly new *&%$??#@ new forecast system did not update actuals for the last week of the month, which also meant that any DVC reports and World reports were null and void, and had to link in numbers from offline files. That finally got fixed at noon, right when I finished manually rigging the DVC stuff.

On to the World stuff, they are taking their sweet old time with final updates, and its due at noon tomorrow! No updates till tomorrow! Don't these people realize I dont even get to work till 10??????????

Sorry, did not mean to bore you with work stuff, just venting a bit here.......... ok, I feel better now :hippie: :smokin: :drinking1

Marita!!!! You never bore us with work stuff! I love the behind the scenes peek at my favorite spot.

Since one of our comrades is MIA I will speak for him

I hate DVC.

There do you feel better???

(disclaimer! I love renting DVC points and I am low stress pay in full via pay pal, awesome DISer and thus safe to rent to if you are interested in helping out, how do you say it on the DVC boards... oh yeah... low-life bottom feeding, scum sucking renters... thanks! LY/MI!!!!:flower3: )

Oh Twinkie, you echoed my favorite saying. I HATE DVC! (well, my work aspect of it, the concepts is good).

Poor Shared DVC resorts (WL, BCV and BW) get to do 20% more work at least than all the others for the same pay. And they just keep saying, the check is in the mail...............

Where have I heard that before? more :smokin: for me

Marita sorry to here about your day. Vent away. It is good for the soul.

Glad Moo got better weather today, Aren't you having tea with Moo tomorrow? If so say Hi for us. I miss her pictures....

Twinkie -- did you tell your girls yet? Are your girls in school? Guess I should tell there school soon.
