Nab, I'm here, just recouping from work the last couple of days.

Yes, I met Moo for tea today, it was so great to meet IRL. She came with her cousin who drove down from Sebring for the day. THe rest of her friends decided to stay in Epcot.

So we had a lovely time and tea (except for a slightly inattentive server), and chatted for a while. About various things and some about the DIS.
Moo tried to explain some of the DIS to her. I think she thought we both are NUTS!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: The look on her face at one point just said it all.

Oh, and a guy in a Utility Kilt walked by us. Moo and I just looked at each other and started laughing.:lmao: Poor cousin looked puzzled. Moo just said "We like kilts" :rolleyes1 Strange look from cousin again.....

Anyway, it was great meeting. I couldn't get my camera to work, but Moo got a picture on hers. We might post it IF both of us look presentable.

Anyway, we parted ways after about 1 1/2 hours  and Moo should be waiting for Illuminations as I type this.

She is leaving tomorrow morning, so we might hear from her by tomorrow night.

The Dis wouldn't let me on.....I tried like 5 times or more.

Pumba--Talk away. We are here for you. Mind you, I saw your thread on the CB board and thought the worse....What is on your stone anyway. Flowers? Your pictures?

Marita-- I'm so glad you got to see Moo. Yes Moo's friend is probably ready to commit her by now and maybe you. I am sure the picture is fine. Just as long as there is no wardrobe malfunction it should be fine.:rotfl2:

It is a beautiful rose granite stone and I mean a really pretty color....on the front of it is our last name with sort of like a long ivy type thing in each corner at the top......on the back is a long ribbon around a double rose(at the top) and it goes thru two rings with our anniversary date on it....may 27, 1967.....made me sniffle when I first saw it......then down below that is hubbys name first and his date of birth and then His WIFE and my name with maiden name too.....it will be easier for any future geneologists to find us and know who I belong to....

we at first only got the four lot one and that would of been us and maybe daughter and husband or son and wife....now we have enough room for the whole dang family.....I love family but you know that already....

we recently received the whole geneology of my family on my daddys side.....my pepere came from Joliette Canada......see I tell ya I am Franco American......I love my daddys background and seeing it was awesome......

Pumba, so sad to hear about your Moms. It is so hard when things go downhill at that age.

Rhonda, thanks for stopping by again! Trust me, it's not very hard to keep up these days, LOL. Say HI to MarkyMark and tell him to stop by, and send your boss out of town!

MommyP, but how do you really feel about Florida? :rotfl2: Personally, I can take it just fine, except for May-September!!!!!!!!

WheatThins and SleepyDog, wow, voices from the past again. Miss all the oldtimers.

The stone sounds beautiful. I think I actually saw a stone like that in the cemetery my dad is in. Some stones are really nice. Is it heart shaped too. My mom picked out my dad's. It has a buck and deer on it in a forest setting with pine trees. It is weird to see her name there too. Just waiting for the date. She has a little garden there and changes it seasonally. Hope we can do it justice when she is gone too.

So you have some Canadian in you, cool. I have German and Scottish in me.

I wish I had my picture machine working. I would post some horribly gross/funny pictures for all of you. Like maybe one of me wearing a kilt waiting in line to go to Mission Space or one of U/M filling her Diet Pepsi bottle out of the "free" Cool Station machines at Epcot.

Last edited by NAB : Today at 09:20 PM. Reason: I guess I shouldn't tell you but you were married when I was only 4.

Pumba, dont feel bad about NAB's edit, LOL. DH cancelled one of our credit cards and I got a new card in the mail today:

A bright, shining new AARP VISA:scared1:

I have one of OFF KILTERS CD's ......I love to play their music and dance away the high sugars I have on occasion......BUT I really love Meatloaf, and Fleetwood Mac, and THE THREE TENORS ..OH YAH THE Eagles..and AC DC......yah strange love of music...
I have alot of those round things called records or albums........we copied the music to cds and I have them put away so they wont break ........

Pumba-- I love Meatloaf too. I used to do my treadmill to Bat of Hell cassette. I don't much like his new stuff.

Marita-- you don't shop, what are you going to do with the card, go to WDW:rotfl2: Have you ever stayed on site....

NAB, I have to buy my wine and cigarettes and gas. And groceries on occasion.....

And yes, I have stayed on site, a night at a time, back when I could stay for free! And then it was a suite or concierge room at the Grand or Poly, or Contemporary... Those days are long gone.

Pumba. I was married 3 months after my 18th birthday, in 1970.

Martia I didn't know you smoked. See you learn something new everyday. You do know it is bad for you....I never did smoke. Both parents did, go figure.

Wow you guys were young brides. My first time I was 27 and the second 31. Can't imagine being married then. I was waiting to turn 19 to drink legally.:lmao:
