Jocularity, jocularity I say!!!

I have a game. Who wants to play?? :teeth:

This is a new game from my all-time favorite radio station. Which I won't name. Because that would be TMI. Thanks JW!! You are now always in my head!!! :teeth:

It is called the wrong answer game. It is hilarious on the radio and I think would be here too with you kooks!!! LYMI :teeth:

Here's how you play. The first person makes a statement:

Arnold Schwarzenegger said, "Hasta la vista ________"

The next person fills in the blank with a wrong answer

"peanut"

Then that person makes a statement and so on.

I'll start.

Banana peppers make me _______________

Mellllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyy

Where are you, girl???

We have yet another gymnastics class this afternoon. Unlike Jami's gymnastics place, our DOES NOT have air conditiong. So, while I sit there and watch my girls to do amazing flips on the floor, and scary cartwheels on the beam etc, and sweat my butt off, I was HOPING to have another installment of your trippie to read.

LY/MI!!!

ATTENTION!!!
Actual WDW advice/information needed!

So, my 2nd oldest niece has decided to join the GaKitties in the World in October (I'm very excited. She is a sweet girl and absolutely adores my children. She actually broke out tears to convince her mother that she needed to come with my Mom in October, that's my girl!), and I, consequently, had to move some ADRs around.

Here is my current schedule:
9/29 we check in, no meal plans
9/30 Akershus breakfast (just the GaKitties), Plane for Mom and Niece lands at @1:30.
10/1 50's Prime Time Dinner
10/2 Alfredo's Dinner (after Maelstrom Meet and Margaritas in Mexico!)
10/3 The Girl's Birthday: CP breakfast (prior to park opening!) and 1900 Park Fare for dinner
10/4 Animal Kingdom for the day, then Cali Grill dinner (timed appropriately for fireworks)
10/5 Mom and Niece leave early morning. O'Hana breakfast late for GaKitties. MNSSHP that night, counter service dining for that, (or would it be better to try and get LTT instead of doing O'Hana that morning)?
10/6 Le Cellier dinner

Dilemma:
1. I'm really second guessing the Cali Grill ressie. All but my niece will be on dining plan, and I had only planned on 6 points for that meal. That puts a real crunch on the rest of the meals and will result in some shared meals at 50's and Alfredo's. I KNOW that the DP results in tons 'o food, so it's not so much that, but also taking my two tots to Cali on top of it.
Would it be better to eat at i.e. Kona, save the points, and watch the fireworks (if we really wanted to) from the Beach? Can you hear the music on the beach? We will have seen Wishes the night before after the gala with Cindy.

2. How hard is it/how long does it take to get back and forth to the airport. Is this a trip I could make pretty easily by myself? I'm not particularly afraid of driving in unknown areas, especially since I know that the two end locations (airport and WDW) will be pretty clearly marked. Other option would be to arrange a towncar or something for Mom and niece to and from the airport. Average cost is @$100.00, right?

Sorry for the long post. I'm having uber-planning issues.

I can answer # 1. Totally my own opinion though. I would change to Kona and watch the fireworks from the beach. Obviously the atmosphere at Kona's is NOT going to be CG's, but I really enjoy my meals there.

I love, love, love watching the fireworks from the beach at the Poly. And the paths are lit by tiki torches at night. It it the most ultimate.

You should be able to hear the music, although sometimes cannot. Because of the construction I think. So don't count on it. That way you won't be disappointed.

Hope this helps!!

Amy, I can't speak for CG because we have never been there but I can tell you that we absolutely LOVED Kona Cafe. It was by far our best meal the whole week. I'm sure the ambience is not quite the same as at CG but we couldn'tmagine the food being any better.

As far as LTT the night of MNSSHP, you might have a hard time getting in. When I booked our ADR, we could only get a very early time because everything else was taken already. :confused3

I have to say I see some similarities in your itenerary. Hmmm. Interesting.

I agree with Sheri, while the adults would probably really like the CG it is not the most kid friendly resturant. The kids would probably enjoy eating at 'Ohana, LTT, or Kona much more than the CG.

Is Magical Express not an option for your mom and niece? It really is nice to not have to do anything at the Orlando airport other than walk from the plane to the ME bus and be at the resort about an hour after you land. And personally I can't see paying for transportation when Disney provides it for no additional cost (I don't say free because we know that nothing at Disney is really free except for the magic).
