I have nothing truly important to add...as usual....since I haven't been around for so long. My sweet DH won his flight in the golf tournament this weekend and he won 3rd place overall so he pocketed some major bucks. He very sweetly handed me a hundred dollars to go towards my Disney trip. Are guys really able to sprinkle pixie dust...because I believe he did.

Yes, the sunny, hot, humid, and in-a-drought South is reporting high temps close to 100 AGAIN today.

I don't wanna hear any whines from you up North. Trust me - this is NOT weather to be envied. If we were high's in the 80's - I'd give you that. But this is brutal. My poor hydrangeas are calling out in their best parched voices - "Need water". I have pictures to prove it.

How sad is that - but I feel bad watering plants when there is a drought.

NM is right. Do NOT envy us. Our A/C is out. Last night, it was 96º IN OUR HOUSE. Yeah. Fun stuff. They're coming today to look at it. I'm actually enjoying being at work, as it is nice and cool here... 72º or so. NM... can we come live with you til the A/C is fixed? We have a character (Wendy/Alice/Snow White/Ariel and a bunch of fur characters) in tow! Yep, OUR Wendy is suffering the heat with us. Now that's devotion.

morning all!!!

Went to chirch yesterday and had a GORGEOUS emerald green sweater set on (yes i said SWEATER as it's FREEZING over here for some reason!) and was carrying DS and lo and behold as we are waling up the aisle for communion, the boy THROWS UP ALL OVER ME!!! AUGHHHHHHH!!!!

it was gross and i had to make an attempt to mop it up with wipes AFTER taking communion!!!

Speaking of Rain - TS Alberto. Those of us who live in Georgia remember 1994 when the first hurricane of the year was also named Alberto. It came ashore and stalled over central Georgia. It is known as the flood of '94. 18 people in Georgia died from the floods. Many a dam broke because of Alberto. So, while we are in desperate need of rain, none of us wish to see a repeat of the other Alberto.
