Everyone should go listen to Prairie Home Companion, which you can stream from NPR, I think. Cause they were funny last tonight. Also they made the requisite Austin jokes.

But mostly because the great lady of Austin, Molly Ivins, was a special guest.

That is where we were yesterday. We had kick butt seats too. Because I camped on the webpage waiting for 12:00:01 to buy the tickets. Front and center. Cool. Huge venue so it was important. Plus it sold out in 20 minutes.

And for those of you who don't know, Molly Ivins is an alum at one of my alma maters, Smith College! I can't wait to hear her today, and I know Leftie will be anxious too. Chappie, Molly Ivins, baby!

Sounds like you and Mr. Sher had a beautiful anniversary. Glad to hear it. And the shoes were fabo. (Ours was uneventful. We sent the girl off to her cousins for the weekend, but still had the boy, and both sets of babysitters, err, I mean Grandparents, were also at the cousin's since they were having a b-day party. We did nothing, which was kind of nice in it's own way.)

I have not reviewed the antics from yesterday. (I was taking an anniversary hiatus (yes, Sher and I share an anniversary!). And sewing.) Did anything eventful happen?

My husband is a bit troubled that our boy has decided this weekend that he wants to wear nothing but sissy's twirl skirts. I told him that he needed to try it some time and see how liberating it is. There's a reason that men in Scotland wear kilts, right?

Morning all! Sounds like you had a busy weekend - of serious posting issues! Haven't done much this weekend besides a lot of house-cleaning. But we saw Cars Friday night and LOVED IT!

Just stopped home on the way to DH's race...seems he decided to wear shorts and a t-shirt without checking the forecast...let's just say it's a bit nippley outside today. So have to take some warmer clothes to him.

Well just a few things that I can think of before I run out the door.

Rhonda~ Sorry about Wes, again...I think you need to watch who he comes in contact with...do you think he might have Princess-itis? Oh the horror! Give him a big from all of us.

I REALLY needed it...been in a funk the last few days...slowly coming out of it. Maybe today will be the end...God I hope so...even my boss asked me why I wasn't my "perky" self.
