Well over 22 years ago it was more like this:

I used to have these aviator sunglasses and people used to say "Hey, Serpico!"

Here is my wedding picture for comparison. Nothing like that now that's for sure!

Disney trips by Ebay....what a great idea!! :thumbsup2

Hope you can join us!

Come Heck or High Water, I WILL be there...just trying to see if DH will decide to join me for F & W. Although he says he wants to avoid the WS cause he always gets sick. Did you happen to see the letter he sent to Disney about it? I posted it on the DVC board...it's a roit! Anyhoo~ I thought that maybe he would bite...no pun intended...on FREE dining and Food and Wine Fest, but he's had a LONG weekend racing and he's just not in the mood to be talking Disney...thanks to the fine Disney folks they've extended my booking window so I have a little more time to 'butter' him up...pun intended...lol He'd probably say YES if I buttered myself up...not gonna happen...too messy, I think!

Well gotta go get ready for my Aunt Batface's 80's birthday party...OH BOY...that should be fun! So NOT a fastpass!

Edited AGAIN because I said "Heck" when I really meant to say "Heck"...my bad.

Lou!!!!!

Mad props to you baby!! I just finished day 7 and 8! You are a supastar!! :teeth:

Remember language everyone......

Hay can someone help me? I am interested in setting ressies.

LC is booked, so it is a no go, and some people say it isn't all that, or worse.

I do have CG booked and it seems that is a definite fast pass.

What would be the next place you would pick for dinner?

I do eat a few crustaceans occasionally, and poor widdle fishys, but pretty much an herbivore. Around Eppie, and MK, where would you go? I am into ambiance, exotic, good cocktails and fine wine.....

What is a not to miss spot?

Why do some say LC sucks? Just curious....
And Haunite, you got in there, without ressies, should I try to do that?

I am at a friend's and borrowed their computer. This is pathetic... :rotfl2:

Just to clarify...I meant that if that was what you thought I looked like (all along) that would get me better responses (meaning to continue to get the good responses).

If I'm gonna get slapped I want to at least have earned it.

PS Glad you're enjoying Robin's trip! :)

Lou made me think of a game. Let's all post who we think we look closest to. No fibbing or agrandisement!

I think this could be really fun.

I also like the girls game of putting faces to the boys. But this sounds fun.... :teeth:

i won't slap you today lou.....

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{[kiss}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} :teeth:

He has aged way better than I have! :p

For restaurants here are my favs:

Alfredos

Coral Reef (a bit pricey but great atmosphere)

Liberty Tree Tavern (tons of food)

Whispering Canyon at WL (but it is interactive so it is atmosphere of a whole different kind!)

'50's Prime Time (great food and hilarious interaction)

And Beaches and Cream for the best burgers on the face of the earth altough I wouldn't clssify it with the others as really a restaurant.

Oh, so what your saying is you like my response? 'Cause I thought I was appropriately responsive.

That wasn't a slap. Honest. If I'd have slapped you, you'd have no doubt!

Chapter11

george_clooney_300.jpg

SNAP -- you're now my new favorite person (although Sher is running a close second). Kimmie -- you're on ignore (Andy Kaufman -- for the love of Latke Gravas woman, that hurts).

Good afternoon to the rest of you nutcases. ALERT -- ACTUAL DISNEY QUESTION FOLLOWS: I spent the morning planning itineraries for our trip to WDW in December. We're thinking of doing a Wishes cruise one evening (preceded by dinner at Ohana's) -- has anybody done the cruise before? If so, how was it? Also -- would Fantasmic be too scary for a 6 and 1/2 year old who is not too wild about fire (i.e., gets scared at a Japanese steak house)? I'm thinking so, but would welcome other points of view. Thanks.

Chappie...does your 6 and 1/2 year old like the characters and fireworks etc. If he/she can do the other shows I think Fantasmic would be fine...you can alwyas sit way up in the back...so as to not be too close to the water/other special effects.

My kids were 6,5, and 4 on our last trip and they all LOVED it. Especially the end where the characters come out...

Also...you could have your 6 yr old become more used to Maleficient(in dragon form) before you go....that may help too.

Good Luck!

Chap, my 2 boys, aged 4 and 7 were scared this feb of Fantasmic. It is very loud and lots of big scariness. My daughter, the spitting image of her mama in all respects, loves danger and thought it was, well, fantasmic!

Sit up back, and have a plan to take off if she is anxious. We did end up doing that.....well part of our group, as Sky was riveted and needed to watch through the finale.

It is an awesome spectacle, but very intense and scary. Perfect for me! :teeth:
