Hi Horsey,

I see you were up late or is it that you were up Early??? Or did you just stay up all night?

Did the riddle. It's an easy one today. Which I like. I only get the easy ones. :teeth:

Shoutouts to all my homies....you know who you are. It's too early to list names. I"ll come back later and edit. :rotfl2:

Have a good one everyone.

Thought you guys might enjoy this pic.

Thank you. Needed a Mickey waffle in the worst way. The birds are singing the sun is shining.

I read the paper this morning. The BOE that cut my job at the knees has come under investigation!!!!!!!

Every dog has there day and that was the best read I have had in a long time.

I love Rosemary Clooney. I loved her in "White Christmas".

Lost. OMG, more confused than ever. LALA - what is with the statue? That is one creepy island. They will never answer all the questions I have :lmao: :lmao:

For the answer to this and other questions, tune in next week.....

But at least on Soap they answered the questions!

Holy Crap!!

I am slipping. There are people who are not only up before me, but posting before me as well. And did the riddle??

Geez

I have nothing. No funnies. At all. And one thing I did learn this morning? That bluish sunlight of yesterday?? Burned my behind. That is NOT a fastpass, btw. Just so you know.

2 posts in a row might be lame and pathetic. But 3 is just....... sad

John Donne
Meditation XVII: No man is an island...
"All mankind is of one author, and is one volume; when one man dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language; and every chapter must be so translated...As therefore the bell that rings to a sermon, calls not upon the preacher only, but upon the congregation to come: so this bell calls us all: but how much more me, who am brought so near the door by this sickness....No man is an island, entire of itself...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."

A little trip across the seas. This is a statue of Oscar Wilde. On my tour of Dublin, which is Ireland's capital city, I came upon this. If you are ever in Merrion Square you should stop and see it.

In case you forgot: V is for......Viking.
Does that work?

Look what my kindergartener brought home in his letter book from this year.

Good Morning Everybody!!

Horsey!! You sweet thing you.

I'll add my book plug....The Nanny Diaries. It truly made me appreciate my life and my husband's income. I wouldn't want to live that lifestyle. If any of you have read it, you know what the Spatula is....the move that the mommy does when she doesn't want her child to hug her for fear that her digs might get dirty.

It's good to see you all! Party on!

Morning everyone!

Horseybaby, did you sleep last night? At ALL??

Nothing much to add, just a quick hello. Oh, and the roofers finally showed up this morning. So that's something, I guess!

Wonder if we'll have to use FastPasses Sunday/Monday?? Sorry, don't mean to rub it in or anything... :smooth:

Thank you Gram. I have seen it. I love Dublin, but my heart belongs to the wild west coast.

Hi back Jami!

I like that. Very much.

Oh my gosh frick. I hope you are all right now. Make sure you maintain your skin checks. I'm sure I don't really need to tell you that. Do not take chances with your health people.

I think Pooh's in the club.

Good, good, good. Good work PP. This will keep us all safe. Here. They will see that we are, in fact, reading THAT book. Because we all know that: Everyone Shall Read the Da Vinci Code.

We also know what happens when you admit to not be willing to read it. Huh?

I'm convinced that THAT was what happened to the Ship. It was NO iceberg, my friend. I'll bet Meatloaf didn't read it either. Poor Meatloaf.

Actually... WAS that Meatloaf????? Or... the Neville Brothers?

BTW... where's ZZUB???? :moped: :3dglasses

Hey all - drive by post :moped:

I read: The paper this morning. AI was the headline of the Toronto Star, "Idol Worship - Red States back one of their own - again"
Not to be political here.....but it was a talent contest. That's all I'll say about that. Congrat's Taylor!
Link if you are interested: http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/Co...ageid=968332188492&col=968793972154&t=TS_Home

I watched: AI last night. Good result!

I finished Mag: Vanity Fare - the articles are so long. Need to get back to reading People or US.

Reading.............is a fastpass!

Later, taters!

My heart goes on, makes you cry grammy? Grammy, Mel, how about the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald? And yes Sher, Perfect Storm, I love it too. Great read, and the movie, marky mark and goerge. Only problem is we lose them at the end. Hay a bit of trivia for you all, one of my college classmates became a skipper of one of the swordfishing fleet, a key player in the downing of the Andrea Gail, and has gone on to write her own best selling sea tales. I also love Annie Proulx, who is from my alma mater, she wrote the short story Brokeback Mountain.

Reading.......................

Wow it took me awhile to find you guys after Tuesdays issues. I felt like I did when I woke up and found my family had migrated without me (just kidding) Just call me Sid the sloth (Ice Age)

How about a tag line of Expand you mind......Read

I have eclectic tastes when it comes to reading. I will read just about anything. If you are into James Patterson (the Alex Cross series), try Jonathan Kellerman (his main character is a Child Psychologist who helps his friend on the LA Police force solve murders) or Faye Kellerman also JA Jance or Ridley Pierson are good reads too.

Yesterday I went out and saw 6 different houses.

The happyhaunts are thinking of moving. Now that ours has been fixed up and re-floored and painted. I know... makes no sense.

But... we want to live surrounded by more trees. We don't like our yard so much where we are now.

Anyhow... I found, I think, the most beautiful place. It was amazing. It felt like it was in the woods. But... still in the same town we are in, now.

That's my news.

Also... I have a very strange, scary story which ties real life to a book (of all the crazy things... on THIS thread!!!!). But it's very creepy dee. I don't know if you all are in the mood for that.

Soooo... instead... I could re-post that stupid cheese poem I wrote. In PMM's honour. Heh, heh.

Or, perhaps, I should get ready for Tommy's field trip today. I have been given the responsibility of watching over a group of small children at a farm. Silly teachers!!!

Mel.

I don't think Pooh got thru the whole book. He fell asleep after the first chapter. He's glad the movie is out now. He won't have to read it AT ALL. :teeth:

I think that was a Meatloaf impersonator. Creepydee indeed.

Did you see at first when he started singing. He was shaking so bad. I was afraid something was seriously wrong with him. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

sheridac has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.

You're right. Pooh doesn't really appear to be reading at all. Does he?

Perhaps he's just using that book as a blanket. A prop. To keep the black helicopters away. He's a smart little bear. That Pooh.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{ Grizzly bear}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

and...

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{slap}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

That was for Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

And Meatloaf.

And this: :smokin: Is for Lil' Grumpy.

Please stop me.
