Ok the first installment of the Very Merry Kool-Aid Christmas Adventure is up on the TR board.

Grammy, loving your report, glad that Grampy is OK!!!

Can't wait to get caught up on the trippies that I have been too busy to read now!!

I am almost ready.....just vacumm tomorrow morning and get the table fixed up ......we made the two pies .....the big one and also a cheesecake...with blueberry later on top.....the pasta salad is done with veggies and the macaroni salad with shrimp is done too.......let me think......I have to slice the cheeses tomorrow and put it out with the pepperoni and crackers.....pickles and olives to go in special dishes.......white lindts truffles in dish and chocolate covered cherries in another dish......I ate a few ......YAH I AM BAD......but they were looking at me and I needed them to drool down my chin.......my favorite items...all presents are wrapped and auction gifts too.....soda is laid on counter and I need to find the ice cube bucket.....where the heck did I do with it is besides me......I used it for my mils 90th birthday party .......
I* made a steak soup for mil too and hubby and I had it for supper with grilled cheese sandwiches....good lordy my steak soup is sooooo darn good ......the kids can smell it and some days they want that for their afterschool snack....gotta love good taste.......rofl....
Hope your trip to Disney is fantastic.....and I am anxious to go back.....more planning to do for 140 days I think......its in four months that is all I can remember.....

Moo -- You probably won't sleep tonight. I never can sleep the night we leave. But then we are so tired the next day. Glad you are not flying out alone.

Marita-- How fun for you to go see the Lion King. It sound like your hubby will be eating leftovers for ever. I do this too, always have enough food to feed an army sometimes. I am getting better because I hate leftovers.

Pumba-- I love chocolate covered cherries too. yummmmy. Sounds like you have everything covered , hope you have time to enjoy it.

I will have to go check out your Trippie Steph. You have had this trip planned for a long time.

Hey, Bonnie - How was your trip to DC? I hadn't read you were going there today until after replying to your PM. Hope it was fun!

Nab, I'm going to try to get to bed at a decent hour, but it will be tough!!! I keep thinking of things I need to do. Have to be at the airport by 7:00. Good thing it's only a half hour away.

Based on Steph's trppie, it looks like tomorrow will probably be a very busy day for Magical Express at MCO. So I'm steeling myself for a ginormous line. At least they handle the luggage! I'll only be hauling a small backpack and purse.

Hope they dry by morning! My daughter thought some of the girls might not want to wear them as necklaces.

were doing the boxing..& my wife whispered "take a movie"..next
thing i know my sil really ... "don't want no movies of my
backside"...see ? nabby- how my wife takes advantage of me..

we were watching our old 8mm movies...when our oldest was
a baby..hummm dinger...boy, my lil missy, sure was every bit
the hottie ...it so sureal....that so much time have passed..

nabby girl?..my wife cries every time when see the boys baby pictures..
ha!..you should see me giving baby bath..& my hair was longer than
my wife...once we were out taking a drive....over a bridge..sight seeing..
when a few smarties..wolf whistle at her! the nerve!..well
we were on top of the bridge & they were below..yes i did! let 'um
have it..with rotten apples that had fallen...

speaking of ...read a lil of javamom's trippie..& oh, boy..can't
wait to read gammy too!

With apologies to some dear friends of mine in CO, has there really been a winter this year? If so, I've missed it. . .

You are right we haven't had much of a winter yet. I want it to snow like mad while I am gone on my cruise. If it doesn't we will here people say, we didn't have to go away for nice weather, but can they wear shorts....or sit in a hammock on a white sand beach.

Our snow is almost gone just like I predicted. DS got a snowboard for Christmas too. I am sure we will get more when, who knows. They are calling for rain on New Years Day.

HOWDY everyone........My house is almost normal........everyone has gone home and I will keep them in my prayers as it is slick in alot of areas.....we had about 4 or five inches of the dreaded white stuff.....dreaded for those of elder age and who no longer go out and make snow angels or ski or snowboard like the youngsters do....
Everything went perfect......the food was delicious and my sil brought potato salad, and other sil brought blueberry cake and dil brought fruit and dips and other daughter brought chips and dips .....and pink stuff......which is a conoction of fruit and gelatin and whipped topping I think......a few other things too........just had a great time with everyone here.....farmed food to daughter and son in law and son and daughter in law........hey they can take home some of the shares.....I am tired but very contented..
Hope that those who are leaving for Disney have the greatest time and please know that we are there in spirit.......HONEST>...

Pumba --people bring more food then what you had the other night. I'm with UMA I gained 10 pounds just hearing about it. We did get that much snow here, hope your family gets home safe.

I just read in our local paper about a family from Pickering Canada was driving down to Florida to be with family then go on a cruise got hit head on by a drunk driver going the wrong way in Pennsylvania on Wed. It was a family of five, the dad , 21 year old son , 15 year old daughter died. Leaving a the mother and one younger daughter. So sad. We drive the major highway all the time here. It is a scary thing.

And there are so many drunk drivers this year in our area, that is really scary. They list their names in the paper too and where they live. But people still do it.

Please party all you want but don't get behind a wheel tomorrow!!!! Stay safe.

our towns just buried 6 young people this week......four young boys only 19 and 20 and an engaged couple 25 and 26........sad for the community.....they arent saying if it was alcohol related but did say that on Christmas eve when it happened their was black ice......sad for the families of such young people....

yes we had to much food as always .......I would not know what to do if I ever NOT had enough for everyone.......my biggest fear .....would rather have to much and farm the leftovers out then wonder what I have in the cupboards to compensate...

Pumba if your a nut case so am I because I alway have enough to feed an army when it comes to company. Then I still ask if everyone had enough or they need something else.

That is so sad about your community. We had good weather Christmas eve thank goodness because we drove home that night. Didn't get home until 3 in the morning. Then had to play Santa.
