I TOTALLY thought that you's guys were married. Are you SURE your husband 's name isn't JOE??? :teeth:

Man, you shoulda posted..."Thank You the re-model was a pain but Joe really did a great job..." :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The Robitussin is a UTAH joke because NO one drinks or smokes here.
I heard it called "mother's little helper" once and bout died laughing

LOL! :teeth: :rotfl: :rotfl: Im quite sure my husband's name is NOT Joe.
I think I would know....although Lou calls him Dave. and he posts as him too. (sometimes it's better not to ask why?) LOL!

Joey, you really did do a great job in the kitchen......but Im glad I didnt feel the remodeling pain. :teeth: :thumbsup2

and it is Loubon and Gerribon...and their dd Jennbon posts around here too...his dog is Maxbon..... :teeth:

Ed, your siggie just reminded me. Weird Al was on Jay (or was it Dave?) last night, singing "I'm so white and nerdy". I had no clue that was a song! :rotfl2:

Okay, I'm panicking a little, because I'm in charge of typing up the program for DD13's shindig tonight. My printer isn't printing!! Hoping DH gets home soon and can fix it. Otherwise, no program tonight!! :sad2:

U-ma: People used to "Robo" in Cedar, too. :teeth: Nasty....awful stuff.

GA......I have to tell you that my husband would not on a bet meet up with any one from the dis for the first five years......I finally got him to go to a meet in Cape Cod last year. I had met some of the people before and I "THOUGHT" they seem normal.......rofl......We had a pretty good time. SOme of the people were from another site. But we had a great time.
I have met some in Disney and I have gone up to people with green tags on and said are you from the Dis????? Of course a few times I was out to lunch. I do understand where your hubby is coming from......it is nerve wracking thinking we could be ANYBODY ......keep working on him and he may give in like my hubby did.....of course it doesnt mean we will have a repeat performance of course.....

I think I'm making this tonight, but I'll have to substitute shrimp.

Cajun Crawfish and Andouille Fettuccine
1 stick butter (1/4 lb)
1 small bunch green onions, chopped
1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped
1 pound crawfish tails and fat
1/3 pound andouille, finely chopped
4 tablespoons flour
2 pints breakfast cream
Red pepper to taste
Salt to taste
1 pound Fettuccine
Melt butter in heavy sauce pan and saute onions, parsley, crawfish and andouille until golden brown. Stir In flour. Add cream, red pepper and salt. Cook over medium. low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Serve over fettuccine.

Serves 6-8.

Crawfish Bisque II
Bisque:
1 cup flour
1 cup oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
1/2 bell pepper
2 stalks celery
Snip of green onion and parsley
1 can stowed tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
Water
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 pound raw crawfish tails, peeled
Cleaned crawfish heads
Stuffing For Heads:
1/4 lb butter
2 stalks celery
1 onion, finely chopped
Green onions
1/2 bell pepper
1 pound ground crawfish tails
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup evaporated milk
With flour and oil, make roux. Add onion, garlic, bell pepper, celery, green onions and parsley. Let vegetables wilt slightly, then add tomatoes and tomato paste. Cook 5 minutes on medium heat. Add water to desired thickness. Season, to your preference with salt, red pepper and black pepper. Add tails. Simmer for 10 minutes.

To prepare stuffing for heads:
Saute vegetables in butter until melted. Add ground tails and bread crumbs. Cook 5 to 10 minutes. Add egg, milk and seasonings. Cook 5 more minutes. Stuff into clean heads and add to bisque. Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve hot with fresh white rice. Garnish with parsley.

Serves 9.

I'd sooner go through childbirth before I make this again!

I MIGHT be persuaded if I had help, though! :teeth:

I'll help!!!! Anything bisque sounds great. YUMMM! Although I think I prefer lobster.........

Donna, you need to read a little closer, those are my wife's tools, mine are in the garage :teeth:

Hi Vikings and lurkers!!

I finally have custody of the computer for a few minutes.

First: the home improvement, decorating , and recipe posts are mighty fine. I love seeing everyone's kitchens!! We did just granite counters, floors and backsplash five years ago when we moved in. I say 'just' because I wish we had been able to replace the cabinets.

Are the cabinets too small?? Or, more likely, do I have too much STUFF????

Tink, my MIL makes wonderful gumbo! You are making me crave it and miss her. I am so impressed with the skills, talents, and girlish figure that go with your cooking. How do you do it all??

The family pics are great fun too.

Amy, :thumbsup2 :grouphug:

And Grammy???? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I'm all yours.

Ok, the Tag Fairy really is all knowing. My top tag used to just be Diet Pepsi queen then it was crossed out numerous times and now it has the Cherry added...Which is exactly how I drink it...a "whisper" of cherry. Or a "splash" of cherry. Very Good Tag Fairy!

you are cracking me up!!! :rotfl: Thank you for clearing up the couple questions... and thank Grammy for adding her flair!! :rotfl:

Luv that tag  Read it and wondered if it was new!!

Then I read "where you are from" only I just glanced at that area... and I thought... now why the heck is she posting she is a slut (I'm sure that word isnt allowed, I edite an explanation if its red coded edit... I had to read it 3 times before I figured oh, Utah... Salt Lake - sl... Yep, I'm slow...

and I prefer Dr. Pepper, so give me Pepsi with a splash of cherry in a pinch!! (which is most of the time, as getting a Pepper in the north is nigh unto a miracle... I call it my nectar of the gods... YUM!! Dont tell the tf... )

and I do like my new tag... but wonder what happened to the old one? Wonder if the TF just got rid of it? That TF just cracks me up... and makes me smile!!!

Homemade Pizza for dinner tonight...

and I make a killer (in a GREAT way) Beef Bergoine - made it for Halloween night, ds girlfriend says she'll be back, it was that good!! :rotfl2:

Hi Toot Sweet.....

Hey, NAB! Your screen name always reminds me of that game, Mad Gab. Ever played it? It is the MOST fun!

DD's shindig is a church function for the teenage girls. The girls all give a little talk and they tell the parents what they have been working on and they get a little presentation. We parents had to write a letter for our daughters to read afterward.

Toot Sweet-- What? They have been working on a project something you know about or how would you be able to write a letter to them. Is this a youth club or something. And no I haven't played Mad Grab. Heard of it though.

My screen name is actually my son's initals. I asked him to help come up with a name we couldn't so I did his initals and it made him beam so that is what I used...
