Oh, UMA, fry sauce! My hubby is from SLC, so I've been introduced to fry sauce at Hires Big H. Yummy yummy! We try to duplicate our own since we only get back there once in awhile - ketchup and mayo, basically, but just not the same as getting it in SLC! Plus I'm jealous we don't have Wienerschnitzels.

But we do have Sonic - thank goodness. I don't know what I'd do without my fruit juice slushes.

NAB, I have noticed one thing up here...people eat gravy on their fries.

I hope that your dish tastes good, but it still sounds gross to me.
BUT, just like my mom taught be, you CANNOT say you don't like it until you try it, so I would be willing to try it once.

It's okay different strokes for different folks. Can't say I like Okra. We make our kids at least try something before they say yuck too. They are pretty good at trying new foods but that doesn't mean they like alot of stuff.

We do like Cracker Barrel, we don't have one here. Bought a Halloween shirt for DD there when were there this summer. I love the shopping part and rocking in the rocking chairs out front.

The kids I babysit think I INVENTED that recipe.... the older one always asks
for it when she stays for dinner..... I think they eat out alot.

Busy day at the beach here.

Spent the day at the ocean enjoying the Neptune Festival here in Va Beach.

Nothing like going for a swim in the ocean in october, no crowds on the beach (just the boardwalk for the festival), warm water and good company

The only one time we were at VA beach it was so windy we got sand blasted but hubby said we had to go on the beach to say we were there. That was two years ago I think.

Erin, I am SO jealous! I didn't get to the beach at all this summer. Only made it to Lake Michigan one time this fall and it was a chilly day. Glad you had a good day.

Never had poutine either. Not an okra fan. But then, maybe I've never had it prepared properly.

We are going to make it to 1000 pages, you know that right????

I'm embarassed for the Cardinals. What a joke. It would have been almost better if the Astros and HGH Clemens had won and represented the NL Central in the playoffs.
