We decided not to renew the APs and wait to buy them till our next trip to get 2 years trips out of them. Ouch about a $150 per ticket error :sad2:

Oh and m mom threatened to hold my MSSHP and airline tickets hostage after we played who can loose the other in Wal-mart again today. TFI.

College site has been down all day. It's going to be a late night :furious:

Just turning the page......

So

Since I am NOT spending a couple of thousand dollars (airfare incl.) on a quick trip to WDW in three weeks to be with my family

I am suddenly quite plush in the pocket

from all the money I "saved"

by not spending it

:rotfl2:

So after I dropped the Boy off at church I had to buy gas.

Pocket not quite so plush.

But then I couldn't make a left turn.

So I went right.

Right by (ok 2 country blocks) MickeyDs!!!

Little Mermaid toys for everyone!!!!

This is post worthy news since I have convinced my children that mommy is unable to buy Happy Meals. Only Grandma's can buy Happy Meals. Feel free to quote me on that. We always get the #2 2 cheeseburger meal.... one cheeseburger for each twin, fries for the Little Man, Diet Coke for mommy... lunch for $4.22.

As I hand out the magic boxes in the luverly minivan my littlest DD says

"Ohhhh Mommy. This IS a dream come true."

That's priceless Twinkie. We on the other hand spoil our kids with Mc toys. So much that we even get a happy meal with out the kids if it is the toys they wanted. Sad I know. Son is finally out grown the toys. That is a good and bad thing, we spend more money on his food now.

What toy did you get the necklace, crown or lip gloss bracelet. If it is Barbie, trolls, polly pockets or little dolls with blinking scary eyes were there. Funny part is it isn't cheaper just to buy the toys here. She likes the grilled cheese meal that you guys don't have that cost $3.29 and the toy alone costs $2.27. :confused3

The dream come true toy was an aqua shell shaped purse. With her Finleyness on the front. It is kind of see through and kind of sparkly.

The girls promptly loaded the purse with the fries. :)

Then in the excitment of owning a McD toy they didn't even eat the hamburger and fries?!? :confused3

I did manage to snarf down many of the fries and gave a burger to the baby.

Who ate it. Of course I didn't buy him his own meal. Or toy.

In fact his big wheel is purple and pink. Poor kid. That is what happens when you have twin older sisters.

The girls are so entranced that they have disappered. They love  to load purses and backpacks with junk.

Yes I have heard about your grilled cheese happy meal. Why don't we have that here? Not that I would order them. Because my twins are freak children who do not like grilled cheese, or scrambled eggs, or spaghettios. We do have Sonic (do you?) that is a drive in/through that specializes in drinks like cherry lime aid slushies. They sell a grilled cheese kids meal. They also have a playground on real sand and a sand volleyball court and a batting cage thing.

So tell her, Lou. Don't you have her number?!!!!!!

Somebody must have it . . . TINK, WHERE ARE YOU?

Not even when I was young! State parks have pretty good rest rooms. But I stopped camping YEARS ago!
I'm right here, MM. No need to yell. I've been busy cracking thw whip on the boy. And Giving hom a haircut. As well as one for Dick. Sadly, no haircut for me. I shall have to endure another week. I DID color it, though.

Oh. And I wasted 4 hours of my life yesterday. Watching Hercules on the SciFi channel. Lovely.

Horsey called me today from Pirates!! More on that later.

twinkie-- Don't have Sonic here, we get our slushies from 7-11 or mac's milk stores which are like 7-11's only they have pepsi products.

My DD won't eat meat especially hamburger. We are lucky if she eats chicken. She would live on french fries if we let her. But we don't. She is in grade one and all she will eat is cheese sandwiches in her lunches. If you give her something else for variety she won't eat it. Lives on cheese and water. No canned spaghetti in a can for her either.

Hello All!!

Back from our ride. It was nice.
We just went. NO where in particular.
We also went to Cracker Barrel for din-din
One of the only places I can get food that remindsme of home.
I had some fried okra. Mmmmm.

Hope everyone is well.

Back from helping a dear friend dismantle a waterbed. We had to cut open the mattress, cut up the polyfill baffle material, and throw it out the bedroom window 'cause it was too heavy to drag out! One of the last remaining vestiges of her cheating, lying ex. Very therapeutic - for her. Kinda tiring for me! But we had a nice dinner on the screened porch afterward and were grateful for the beautiful weather. Heavenly ham, potato salad and caramel apple walnut pie.

Thanks for the new update, Lou. Two in one day?!!! Love the comment on the 5 o' Clock Somewhere T-shirt pic.

Tink - Didn't mean to yell so loud! Just wanted to make sure you heard me!

Twink - I don't think I could have resisted the temptation to go on the trip to WDW! Sounds like the kids enjoyed their Year of a Million Dreams surprise!

Mmmm Cracker Barrel sounds nummy. I like their hashbrown casserole, and chicken fried steak with saw-mill gravy....as I eat my Mummy pigs n a blanket with mustard dot eyes (my kids literalyl think I'm a gourmet! well 3 of them anyway)

We have Sonic Too.

No, we dont have Grilled Cheese at Mickey Dee's!!! JIP!

But! Do you have "Fry Sauce" at YOUR Mc Donalds???? (said with smugness)
and I dont mean Ketchup!

We have no Sonic here either, no Chik Fil A, no Dairy Queen, no Taco Bell, no grilled cheese at McDonalds, no Checkers, no Papa Johns, I could probably go on....oh yea no Krispy Kreme.

I had the grilled bacon and cheese, with hashbrown casserole (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE) and the fried okra.

I love Cracker Barrel, but it is like 45 minutes away.
But they have great food at resonable prices. Nummy!

UMA- Guess not since I don't know what that is . Is it a gravy? Like poutine, no that is gravy and cheese.

---

What is poutine?

It sounds gross.

Inquiring minds need to know about these things, fry sauce, poutine...anything else you people want to mention???

Since i'm not "from" Utah (California born and "bread" ;) ) I know it is unique only to Utah. It is a little packet of "dipping sauce" (like they have BBQ, sweet n sour, etc) consisting of equal parts ketchup and mayonaise.

It is tres manifique.

Leave it to Utah (the state social structure not me personally) to "Fat-up" fried foods!!! You can request a mayo. packet and mix ya up some fry sauce for yourselves, next time you go to The Golden Arches.

Uma...I am jealous
I love mayo and ketchup with my fries.

I think you should get a bunch of these packets and share them with us. ;)

Sounds good.

Pongo - Poutine is french fries with Mozzeralla cheese crumbled on top than gravy poured on top to melt the cheese...Actaully it is really good.
