Bring your Wet'n'Wild lip gloss instead of your Chanel and Dior!!!!! Those TSA gals are NOT to be joked with! They have no idea what lip gloss IS, for Pete's sake! I swear, just a week and a half ago there was a basket in security with tons of tubes of lip gloss! You might get a wand NAZI like I did, who was NOT in a joking mood. Just sayin!

I ALWAYS get wanded, patted down, wanded again, patted down again and practically strip searched.

EVERY TIME.

And.

I KNOW!!! I'm mighty curious as to the method of their screening of my toiletries!!!

Update on my shopping - which I started today.

Jami got my crocs cause she has skillz in that department.

I got a new chapstick, 3 pair of socks and after a 4 hour search for a bag that would hold my camera, phone and chapsitck, but still be easy to carry and light - I bought a waist wallet

Also where would one buy "body glide"? Wal Mart??? and what section would I look in? I have heard so many people say it is good stuff, but have never tried it. My toes thank you.

This is a drive-by, don't-even-have-time-to-skim, post.

Spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Canon tech support today. Apparently, something is amiss with my WIA. It's definitely a computer issue, not a camera issue. Evidently I must defrag (check) then try again (check, and no cigar) then reinstall Windows XP (Doug will do tonight whilst I'm at yoga) and then try again. I don't know why this has suddenly become so important to me so soon before the trip, but it has.

Like I don't have other stuff to do.
