FLAGGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am I the only one feeling overwhelmed by all that has to be done before leaving?? Why oh why did I spend Saturday watching football, instead of doing something constructive??

Off to do more stuff. Now.

You forgot to edit.

Also where would one buy "body glide"? Wal Mart??? and what section would I look in? I have heard so many people say it is good stuff, but have never tried it. My toes thank you.
At Sportsman's Places. It's designed for runners like myself...(NOT) and you also put it on your inner thighs if you aren't a size -2 . It prevents chaffing and, rubbing and friction, and blisters. HOWEVER, dont liberally apply it all over your feet or you'll slide around in your shoes. I just did my toes.

Dont explain this product to an employee, because you'll make him cry. This is what happened to me. I waltzed up to a pimple faced 16 yr.old "CM" at a Running Shoe place. I'm all, "BODY GLIDE!!! You KNOW! It prevents blisters on your feet and chaffing on your HooHoo!???? It looks like a deoderant stick and you rub it on your feet, and between your thighs....!" So he took me to the blister care, moleskin, and bandaids!!! I had 3 kids with me and nearly erupted :furious: on this boy. "NEVER MIND!"

You are welcome, feet of Maelstromers!!!!
Call the store ahead of time. Do you have an REI or Cabellas? Not at Walmart.

Haley, you can also order it from here:

Drugstore.com

I found BodyGlide at Dick's Sporting Goods, if you happen to have one of those nearby. I usually wrap bandaids around my toes that are prone to blistering.

Rhonda - I have a home remedy for sinus headache that involves acupressure. I can go get my book and PM you the instructions if you'd like. If Tylenol Sinus doesn't hype you up (contains Sudafed), that usually works for me on really bad sinus headaches.

Ed
- Nice to see the pic of you and your DW!

SD
- I hope I didn't miss a REAL picture earlier. Before I got home from work. If so, Wah!

Yeah, well, as long as it's not that airport screener's signature scent!!

And it's Clinique Sunset too. You should try it, Mikey, you'll like it!!!

I also have their Stawberry Fudge eye shadow. It's YUMMY!!!

But I'm still a MAC girl at heart!!!

Borg Sher! I love that eye shadow combo and the scents. My DS gave me a combo set of their scents for Valentines last year - raising him right :lmao:

Oh and Haley I bought the Body Glide at my local runner's store called Running Wild. I would imagine though that Scheels or a Foot Locker might have it.

I might add that the very easiest thing is to tempt fate and not buy the stuff at all. Live life on the edge. I double dare each of you. . .

MM: That IS the real me. . .well, minus the helmet. . .

For those of you needing a shot during my younger, formative years, here you go:

ALERT!

Tink is getting ready to watch (gasp) FOOTBALL!!!!

Game hasn't even started and I have had 3 episodes of Charlie Brown lips already. I have a box of Puffs ready. Crossing fingers that they will win, but I am not hopeful. It WILL be a good game, though.

And. I get to see my man Morton. What a hunk. Yummy. Even IF he is playing on the wrong team.

Dinner is almost ready. We are having steak, asparagus with aioli, hominy, mushrooms in sherry with garlic and green onions, and French bread.

I have plenty. And the picnic blanket is down. Bring your pillows.

Gotta go check to see if idiot responded to my post on the CB.

TTFN!

I have a nice cabernet franc that would go well with the meal. May I bring a bottle or two or three?

TINK, my son is hunkered down, cheering for the Saints. He just came in to tell me that "The Saints are Back!". He's also very excited for 1/2 time, TFI. Imagine that.

I am going to take your advice, SleepyD, and chance it. Every Disney trip, I've brought moleskin, bandaids, etc. (never Bodyglide, tho), and I've never needed any of it. This year, I have plans to take it semi-easy. No commando touring. So I'm feeling complacent. PLUS, Jami also got Crocs for ME, and I'm hoping they're as comfy as everyone says they are (if they're not too big!!). But...what with Murphy's Law and all....who knows?!?!

All my good diet intentions are shot to hell because, even though my MEALS aren't bad, I have this bag of dark chocolate M&Ms in my desk at work, and then I come home to WW toffee ice cream bars and hummus & pita chips. All of a sudden, I'm eaten enough little "snack" items to put me over my calorie limit for the week. So the salad I had for lunch and the shrimp cocktail I had for dinner don't do me much good.

Watched Desperate Housewives. It was okay. 'Bout what I expected. Now I'm kinda sleepy.

Yes, please do, dawlin'.

I just :stir: it on the CB thread. Hayley would be so proud. I expect severe reprocussions. Liberals need not look.

Jami - I hate to iron. Been thinking about getting some of that spray wrinkle stuff :teeth:

Tink - :grouphug: hoping they win, too

Rhonda - hope the headache gets better. I have no cure. And yes, I have lots to do tommorrow.

 all

Grammy, you always inspire me to post after you. Must be that mud bath we shared. Get the Wrinkle Release. It works. Hey, it may even release blisters if anyone wants to give it a try :rotfl2:

Rhonda, Have you tried breathing through your nose over a tea kettle? That sometimes helps a frontal sinus headache. I'm sorry. You don't have time for that. The headache, not the teakettle.

Tink, Shrek is watching the game and I just told him about your thoughts and the CB. I cannot imagine your emotions when mine run this strong as an observer. My dear friend is going on a relief trip to the 9th Ward next week. I am eager to hear her report.

U-Ma, I love you and am sooo happy you are here but must go on record as a Diet Coke defender. I think of your siggie pic every time I pass the Diet Pepsi at the store.

Ash, I'll leave the tags on the Crocs just in case. The lady at the sports store knows me and all my business now. She wishes you all a magical day :woohoo:

Everybody else, :Pinkbounc :cool1: :thumbsup2 and howdy.

Go eat a snack. Make it chocolate.

Jami ~~ I will come do your ironing if you will bring me one of those famous Cookmaster cookies.

Haley ~~ Your digits are in my phone. If you find the body glide stuff in town will you let me know where?

Steph ~~ How is Crashdad?

I am off to move things around in the suitcases. :thumbsup2
