Good Morning! It is Wednesday so that means preschool and gymnastics and football and church. If the kids don't collapse from exhaustion first. We will see.
Kimmie-I know, at every stage the current one is my favorite one. My in-laws tease about using bricks as hats to prevent growth... but then again, they also thought I didn't know how to use a mailbox because I am from the City. DH was IMing friends from school.... which I pointed out was the same thing and he said no. He has actually met these people and thus knows that they are not posers. So everyone out there pretending to like Disney and long winded trip reports with lots of OT please stop.
AshClan- I totally understand the credit card stress... DH lost ours the night before I left town for a month.... to another state where our bank accounts don't work... so had to carry cash! lots of cash- while flying alone (except for the 4 kids and 3 carseats and a stroller

Good Morning, everyone! I stayed up WAAAY to late last night. And. My back is KILLING me. So. I am going back to sleep for a bit. Chauffeur duties fulfilled for the morning.

Pupdate (finally): So, I might have jumped the gun a bit with the poison. We still don't know. Bloodwork showed regenerative anemia, no intestinal parasites. On Monday she bounced back and seemed to be doing well, but still not eating. Yesterday, after a night of hospitalization, she was fed dry food at @10 a.m. She either regurgitated or vomited (I have been repeatedly told that there IS a difference . . . ) and they did not subsequently try to feed her anything else. She was/is still drinking water without a problem. The next step was diagnostic x-rays. I inquired into cost, minimum $150 for diagnostics, and there would probably need to be follow-ups.

Yeah, I've got a dad who's a vet 5 hrs away with his very own clinic and x-ray machine and everything. And he's FREE (except for gas money and time). So, I decided, since she was stable, not dehydrated, etc. to cease treatment at local vet and take her to Dad for the expensive stuff. So, this morning I pick her up, she is still looking good, they haven't tried to feed her since yesterday morning. After consulting with Dad, we decided to try some "easy" food and see how she does. Rice and boiled chicken. I am now waiting to see if she vomits (we are currently past the regurgitation stage.)

I didn't know that dogs could get the flu. But that is sure what it looks like. Except that doesn't explain the anemia or the blood in the urine. It's still a mystery. But she is looking good at this point. I am praying that it is not a form of cancer, which is common in Goldens.

So, I'm waiting to see if I am driving to South Carolina this afternoon with the dog and two kids (only to drive back home tomorrow minus the dog).

But we are going to WDW!!!!!!!! Plane tickets booked round trip for $117.00 a piece non-stop flight!!!!!!!!!!

It's just a quick whirlwind trip for the weekend. We leave 10/12 in the morning and come back 10/14 at night. We're going to the MNSSHP ON 10/12!!!!!

Now I've got to figure out room ressies!!!!!!! Just couldn't wait to tell you guys

I always tease my bunchkins that I'm going to stop feeding them so they won't grow. Even Sydney now tells me, with a very serious tone, "But Mummy. I need to grow so I can do big girl things." I know they do. I just feel like time is on fast forward.

Kimmie, I can so relate to this. I've had a pretty hard time of it this year with my baby starting Kindergarten. I really don't have any words to offer that will make you feel better about it. Just know you're not alone. We'll get through it, my 89 sista.

For the edit recap. I really enjoyed that. Those were all from M2, right? I remember most of the conversations they were taken from. Not all of them, but a lot of them. Like they happened yesterday.

Sigh.

I bet M1 has some pretty classic ones too. I may have to go back and reread a few pages here and there.

Your reports really showed us that a "whirlwind trip" can be a ton of fun. We went in May for the weekend and loved it. So we are going to give it another try in October. We've never been in October or to MNSSHP so we can't wait!!!

BTW - I noticed the use of that too... Just think of the royalties
