Nab, the only reason I got cats is so that I could collect wild rodents, that is how much of a Mickey Mouse lover I am.


Lala Junior story continues. I finally found a basket and box to keep him in at 3 am....got up at six and took on the wet nurse role, until midmorning, then got in the Odyssey to take him to the vets, who would care for him until the gal who will raise him until he can be released comes to get him. I decided to transfer him to the shoe box I found in the minivan, to ensure he would not escape. I am no Jeff Corwin. He leapt out of the basket, when I removed the lid and scurried around the car floor, much to the delight of my 4 year old who was saying "weeeeeeee! I love him!" My asp was up in the air, over the seats, trying to catch him, for about 20 minutes. He then disappeared. I drove to get gas, and asked a fella about the anatomy of a van, could the lil guy escape, etc. Before you know it, the entire gas station is staring under the hood, and the seats. An all out sflying quirrel roundup. He remains on the top of the America's Most Wanted list as we speak.

I did a bit of shopping over the lunch hour. Picked up 4 pairs of capris for me and some t-shirts for the kidlets. Which now need to be washed sans fabric softener (along with all the adult sizes) so that I can get busy with the t-shirts this weekend.

And I need to start working on the Cindy dress and the 3 musketeer cover thingys (what are they called? Not capes, sort-of vest like . . .) My co-worker came and asked if she could have her planning folder for the weekend. I reluctantly gave it to her, telling her that it was not yet complete and that she MUST return it to me on Monday for further work. Not much else to do on mine, except memorize things.

That reminds me of a dream I had the other night. Melatonin can do strange things to the mind.

I had just won some kind of beauty contest. (I TOLD you it was a dream.)
Alexandra Spaulding from the Guiding Light was helping me pick out evening gowns for my next public eevnt while I was being interviewed by Mary Hart.

It gets better.

I go out to my bedroom and Jodi Sweetin is laying on my bed watching Alton Brown.
