I no longer *do* sneakers. Or tennis shoes, either, right Ash?? I'm telling you people: TEVAs. I will no longer go to Disney without them! I prefer the flipflops. Stylish AND comfortable. IMHO. They have many styles from which to choose. Surely you could find something suitable!!

Ok - This has been my morning problem

I got a blue and white envelope from Disney. Opened it. Confirming my reservations for the meet have been CANCELLED OMG

On the phone - this is the deal - needed to talk to a manager.
I called to add another night to my reservation, Sept 29th, OK done deal, or so I thought. Instead of adding 1 night they cancelled my existing reservation and booked another but no free dining, etc.

I have back my existing reservation but now no nights available for the 29th. I am afraid to even try to add it now. I am NOT IN A GOOD MOOD

Rhonda -- good to see you again!! Meet the goal, now matter how piggish you must get on the thread. We are your Viking friends and we understand and love you no matter what.

RE: footwear. I just ordered some new nikes through their employee friends/family thing. SEVEN pairs of sneaks (one each for the whole fam, with an extra for Doug and and extra for Syd) for $200. whoo hooooo! And the best part? Mine have a GREEN swoosh. I am still in the search for a pair of comfy sandals, though.

And, I got my free drink coupons from SW! Would it be inapropos to order a margarita on my 7 AM flight? heheheh

And, Conor is home again today. Strep test positive. I might've already said this? Not sure. But the penicillin is working and back to school he goes tomorrow.

And -- (who's being piggish now? ) Piper did a handstand dismount off the balance beam yesterday. Wow! She was so excited!

OMG Grammy!!! That sounds like pixie puke rather than pixie dust. Put your foot down and get a little demanding since it is their fault. It worked for me to change my pop ressie to POR. Within a time span of 30 min, two different CM's told me there were no rooms & I called back a third time and got a lil irritated (in a nice sort of way) and I got what I wanted. (I could book the rooms on the net but not through them b/c of the free dining package.) Apparently they had some secret rooms stashed away that the first two did not find.

Chris, NO more new dresses! I re-tried my new one on last night. With an old-ish (but barely worn) pair of (dressy-ish) sandals. Looks fine, but the sandals are not comfy, so I may need to make a purchase....aw, shucks!

Rhonda, I was thinking of you and "tennis shoes" when I read Sher's sneaker comment! I have to go online to check out the Teva flip-flops. I'm going to buy either those or the Croc flip-flops. Have to decide ASAP, as I'm going to have to order online, and time is running short (Ya Hoo!)

GRAMMY!, tell those dopes in reservations that you are a very important person, coming down for a very important meet, and they'd better fix you up FAST. Or we'll sic Sher on 'em.

Kimmie, glad Conor is recovering. I was thinking of you and your tags. Hope all these new avatars aren't screwing you up!! I'll take my old or new. Either way, I'll be way ahead of where I would've been if I relied on my own craft skillz (or lack thereof).

Well, well, Horsey actually worked a little bit today! BUT, now she's golfing! Don't know, but after the tournament I was in this summer, I think I may prefer work.......

Morning folks! I am wasting time this morning. Our church bus had a safety recall on the seat belts. When I called they said it would take an hour or so to get it fixed. No big deal. But when I got there, they said other folks had come in and it was looking like at least 2 hours! Dadgummit! Oh well. So I hiked it down to the local library and got on a computer.

So howdy to all the strommers. I'm off to go read ESPN's site.

Can you edit from a local library?

Depends on who you talk to Mark The ALA would say, no that is censorship. At the library all information should be freely available in its original form.

Then you have the government that says only information that does not pertain to government security cannot be edited. All sensitive information must be protected for national security. Unless you let your employees take home their supertopsecret information loaded laptops.

And then there are those, who shall go unnamed, who believe that anything placed on this forum, regardless of point of origin, must be edited.

So Mark, may you have the discernment of Solomon in choosing.
