Reading, seeing and hearing Part 2

I am da Man.

Tonight the Silly family went to the

Main Event

$10 unlimited play laser tag.

We played four times. So I got in an hour of arobic exercise. Well, maybe 45 minutes. I am still catching my breath. But I rocked on that last game.

I ranked #2 out 26 players. I even overheard some guy pointing out my score to his wife :)

Some teenaged boy got #1, but he was on our team, so it is ok (I did accidently shoot him 12 times :teeth: ). I beat out a bunch of Dads, a few Moms, and at least 5 or 6 teens. Plus all the little kids.

So if we ever get caught in a dog fight, I am your man.

So long as we have unlimited reloads. Cause my accuracy was not perfect. 40%, actually.

Man was that fun.

But I am beat.

So Goodnight all.

Ladies night out tomorrow...

SleepyD -- I'm gonna have to putcha in yer place, dog! Sheridac was here first. It's the Sheridac and SleepyD show, savvy?
But that's not what you told me when you called the other day! You said it was definitely the SleepyD and sheridac show and that. . .wait. . .maybe that was my mom. . .

As for the shoe business, I once read a report that the average park attendee can walk upwards of 3 or more miles on any given day. My experience bears that out. Forget fashion. Go with a quality running shoe (or even walking shoe) that will give you cushioning for the long hours on your feet. No offense to those who wear them in the parks, but flip-flops, sandals, and crocs aren't designed to offer your feet, nor especially your legs and spine, the needed support. Take it from a runner. . .get shoes designed for support and cushioning. Your body will thank you. . .just sayin'. . .

Ha!!

I doubt even your mom would pick you over me!!!! :teeth:

Edited to add:

In fact, I know so!!! She told me she loves me more!!!!

Kim, forgot to respond to the shoe question. As much as I like to be fashionable, I am a sneaker girl all the way at WDW. And I always bring an extra pair of socks (though I've yet to need them). Now, I don't go fancy. I do plain, white leather Keds. Running shoes/cross trainers are probably better, but they just look too clunky. I think the Keds are a good compromise. Although Tevas have been talked up a lot on the boards. And I believe they offer good support. Again, I just don't love the way they look, y'know?

OH, oh, oh, I FORGOT my cell phone today. I am such an idiot. I will try to call you from work, though. If not, I'll call when I get home tonight. Sorry!

Good Morning to everybody else!!!! Is it time to go home yet?!

Mornin Stromers! Hope you are having a Super day. I just thought I'd put in a shameless plug for my trip report. I did it all last night - cause I wanted to get it done. And I couldn't sleep. Hope you enjoy it!

Headed over to the riddle now.

Blessings!

Marky! You know 'stromers are a lazy bunch (well, sher is at least), and whereas I'm certainly willing to go find your TR, others (oh, I don't know, say sher) will want a link right here, right now. . .just sayin'. . .

Okay, even I think that was funny! :rotfl2: You win that round. . .now it's 20 to 2.

Yes.

20 - me
2 - you (and only 'cause I'm feeling generous this morning)

Morning all!

Kim, I SWEAR by my Merrell flip flops (it's the Merrell Bahia thong). I wore them around the world last November and this past May, and they were more comfortable than my Crocs flip flops, which I wore one day. They have great support and cushion, and they don't rub anywhere - no blisters, and nothing but the normal sore feet from walking 14 hours a day!

Found them on Nordstrom's website, but I've been able to find them at any department store around here:

Sweetie, even a woman as beautiful as you can't make them look less ugly ;)

Gosh!

It's been quite a morning!

Who knew furniture shopping could be so taxing?

(And it's not even my money!)

Work work work.

Thanks for the shoe advice, Sher, Rhonda, Ash, BRANDT!! and YAK (you too, D). I found a bunch of cute sandals that purport to be comfy as well ... on zappos. Trouble is, they are all in the $65 and up range. But it will be worth it ... it's not easy to find cuteness and comfort in a wide shoe. Yep, I have flippers.

and...

SleepyDdogdoodle -- busted. Don't go pretending I've called you, cause everyone here knows I'm phone-o-phobic. I've only talked to one strommer ... can you guess who it was?

JW~

You are a sweetheart!!! Very, very.

But, mine are teeny-tiny!!!

They do look cute!! Somewhat. :teeth:

And. Maybe I have worn them out of the house.

Just sadin'.

It HAS to have been Sher. But, NOW, as of an hour or so ago, you've talked to two!!! :teeth:

Edited to add: I take that back. I think it might've been Horsey. Am I right??
