Oh and Ed went on a cruise and is now busy at work.

Grammy and Sheridac and Horseybaby and the Pooh family are all meeting up this weekend without me.

Chappie had a bad water leak in his house and seems to have jumped ship. But he still wuvs me, even if he will not tell me what word I spelled wrong.

Lou went to a meet and came back. Much talk about feet.

We have a load of newbies, I think sheridac is a flirt. Know not think.

Speaking of her, she is below 120lbs so she is on double secret ignore. (shhh don't tell her)

I guess other stuff happened too.

It's freakin' hard to keep up with all this stuff. When my kids are home. On vacation.

I gotta fill the pool with dirt. So I don't need to watch them outside.

I believe in the post-modern movement away from the rational/logical need to explain everything. I believe in the essence of story and metaphor for understanding. I believe we are in a post-literate age where images are the lingua franca and the written word is passing into misuse. I believe we are in a changing time. But I dont' believe we have arrived at what we will be.

And I'm a child of the '80's.

That's easy - experience and relativism. That's why the Renaissance portion of the title. I still believe there is a place for reason and logic. And experience and relativism has a role in shaping learning and understanding. In toddworld (my own personal worldview) there is a balance of reason and experience, relativism and logic.
