Ok, I decided to switch to
Cingular b/c
Verizon ticked me off for the last time. Unfortunately, we are not off to a good start at all with Cingular. I just got an email from them stating that my hubby's phone is on backorder.
Here's my general vent: Is anyone else as sick to death of this latest trend with retailers in general to not carry enough stock. Seriously, I don't know how places like Overstock.com find any products. You can't even go to a
Walmart and not find that they really don't keep much of of a selection on the shelves and their selection seems to dwindle every day. What they do have, they have a crap load of or hardly any. It's nuts! Here, we seem to see stuff that they used to carry disappearing. I am sick of the supposedly cost-cutting tactic that so many are going to these days, that only seems to cause delay after delay for people all across the line.
For instance, even where my hubby works... same thing, no one wants to stock parts, so that causes a delay, which causes another delay, and so forth and so forth... and at the bottom of all of that is you and I.
Ok next whine session is about
Delta Airlines:
Great googly moogly where do I start...?
Ok they have changed my itinerary twice now, yes, I understand that that is just par for the course with them. However, I generally expect that if they are going to change my itinierary that they at least have me flying to the correct destination.
I went to check my intinerary the other day, only to find that my return filght for the December trip will send us from MCO to ATL to KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE!!!! We live in Kansas!!! So, I call first and the agent fixes my seat assignments and assures me that the filght is not to Tennessee, the next day it is still all screwed up. So, I email them with my list of concerns and they sent me new e-mail tickets. However, as I am reading them it shows that my last flight is going to Kansas City BUT there is no arrival time listed... why might you ask? Because the freaking flight is going to KNOXVILLE not Kansas City. So, I email them again. This time I got no other reply, just the new tickets with the correct flight number on it this time, flying to the correct detination... Yippeee! it only took 1 phone call and 2 emails. Now hopefully between now and the time of the trip, they don't get us routed to the "left coast" or something.
Ok whining is over, you may continue your happy lives.
