Reading how AK is hot got me thinking....

made ressies in September for Neverland Club at 7:00 and dinner for me and hubby's 10 yr anniversary at Kona Cafe. Do you think I'd have enough time to leave AK get to Pop and freshen up before having to be at Neverland at 7:00???? I thought we could leave early, but I hate to miss the parade, we missed it last year because of rain

Will you have a car? If so, you could probably do it. If you're relying on Disney transportation, it might be close.

If the parade is at 4 and you catch it right about the middle of the park, you should be out of there by 4:30 or so. Pop is somewhat close to AK, so say it takes 30 minutes to drive, park, get to your room, you're there by 5 freshening up. (Honestly, it may take longer to get out of the park and to the car, but I doubt it would take a full 30 minutes to get to the room.) You'd want to leave the hotel by 6 to give yourself time to park and check in the recommended 10-15 minutes early. Plenty of time.

If you won't have a car, you could also use cabs to get around. The trick with buses is you can't go from resort to resort. Another alternative would be to take the bus from AK to Pop (though you may have to wait as a lot of people exit after the parade) and then cab it from Pop to Poly.

Take a cab from AK to POP, to avoid the long bus lines. Also, cab will be cheaper from AK to POP than from POP to Poly. Freshen up, take Magic Kingdom bus, get on resort monorail to poly. Should make it in plenty of time.

Hmm...how much will a cab cost? Believe it or not I've never used a cab in my life!!!

Seems high but sometimes sooooo worth it.

We've used a cab to get back to ASMv from MGM ( I can't get used to calling it Disney Studios) after Fantasmic. The line for the All Star Bus was almost to the turnstiles. If you are familar with the Bus Stops, you will know how ridiculous this is. So we took a cab, great way to spend $15.

Allthough, by doing this we created a monster. After that we would get to the bus stop and there was a long line or if we were at the bus stop for more than 5 min, my little girl, would say, " Oh Mom, lets just get a taxi".
