Read this about a freebie I got from Disney today

I have been emailing Disney back and forth for the past week asking about a free photpass certificate that I have read about in some threads. Well I ask them if I would be getting one with my free dining package in September and they told me to email them back with all my info and they would let me know.
So I did and they replied that I would'nt be getting one with my package. Ok, no big deal I told them, but I was just really curious as to who and why some of the packages got them and some of them did'nt. Well, they emailed me back today and said that as a "courtesy" they were going to give me one in my package. I replied with a thank you very much and that is the end of it. But the funny thing is, I never really got an answer to the orginal question of just who gets these for 2008 and why. Oh well, I am grateful for this freebie!!!!!!

You only get the free 5x7 photopass pic if you (or your TA) booked your vacation on-line.

Same rule will apply for 2009 MYW packages.

Hmm. wonder if the same applies to AAA...

I have a courtesy hold reservation with AAA but it only mentiones the Planet Hollywood cert. No mention of the mini golf, photopass nor sea raycer discount.

I had a courtesy res with WDW, and got everything but the photopass that way.

Sent an email to AAA rep to verify what I get or not...

This is really interesting. When I booked my package over the phone, one item quoted as being included was the free 5x7. When I received the confirmation in the mail, an extra certificate was included for Planet Hollywood. I called and was told that no, I would be receiving the 5x7. I'm not sure what will happen. Don't need the PH certificate, we are on the DxDDP. I love the extra 5x7s though.

AAA TA said I get all of them. She revised the itinerary and now it sais:

$15 PLANET HOLLYWOOD MEAL VOUCHER ..PHOTO PASS...MINI GOLF VOUCHER SEA RAYCERS OFFER...

We'll see...

Ok, so I did call to enquire and they said since I got free dining I was'nt eligable for the free photo pass, but since they sent me an email with a free "courtsey" one I am going to print the email and take it with me upon check-in next month in case they don't have a clue about it then. They did'nt seem real thrilled with the fact that all this chatter is going on about this on the message boards on the net though.

I did! We booked two packages so we could take advantage of free dining. We got a photopass, free searayer rental, free round of minigold and a discount a Planet Hollywood with each package. (8/20-8/24 and 8/24-8/29). We booked through a TA
