Has anyone noticed that when you open the app if you hit join for the first time it takes a second for the page to load and if you go back and hit join again the page usually loads instantly? Maybe I'm losing my mind trying to find every advantage but I swear it loads instantly if you go in and out a few times. Maybe something to test out.

Tested this method this morning and totally agree. there's not the extra load time and the Join button was there immediately at 10am. Thanks for the tip!

I agree with this! I always make sure to do a couple rounds of "joining" before 10 (or 2) because it seems to load just a tad faster after that first time.

After a successful 10am practice round I'm convinced that if you tap join and go back 2-3 times before 10 or 2 you'll get to the second join page without it having to load. I'm on wifi right now so I'll try on cellular at 2 but I think if you have a fast connection it should give you a small advantage that may be enough to get you a BG.

Just keep trying! Check out LSUTigers tip that I quoted at the top of this page.

Also know that in a few weeks, the plexiglass barrier will roll out on all the ride vehicles and they'll be adding more riders, so that should open up additional boarding groups, hopefully allowing the passes to last longer, not significantly longer, but hopefully long enough for most people to get through.

Today was my first practice fail, but I was in an area that had shoddy service. I've tested it out multiple places at my work and service is all over the place and to have today be my first ever fail has me feeling okay about it. Coming up on 3 weeks until I can finally do the real deal.

I tried this today too and I felt like it went faster, my app loaded the join page faster. Been successful in all my attempts when I just click in from the main page so far so I guess I'll be sticking with that. We're going to do two full HS days, I would hope four tries would be enough to get one!

Boarding group 20 today! Off WiFi, used my husbands phone to count down the seconds and we are actually right at the exit to railway as we had just come off the ride.

ok, i'm practicing at home but I keep getting hung up on select your party -- if I select all or if I just click on just me, the next screen errors that me or my group aren't in the park.

Do I need to do something else to practice like turning off location or wifi or is this the end of the line for practicing?

If you get to the screen that says not everyone is in the park that means you would have been successful had you been in the park. Don't worry about clicking on any of the people on the screen where you select your party, just click join.

When multiple people in 1 group are trying for a bg, what will the screen look like if someone else in the group gets the bg for you first? (screen shot would be useful!)

Does that make sense?

So let's say susie q clicks fastest for our group when we all are trying, gets us all a bg, what's my screen going to say to let me know that I already have a group?

At what point are you actually on the ride & how long is it taking from the tap in entrance- exit?
I know it can vary, so anyone's personal experience !

If everything is running smoothly it should be 20 minutes from tap to finish

A few questions:

Should I be on the page that has the little brown TOT picture at the top and then pull down to refresh right at 10? Or should I be at the screen prior to this (Join Virtual Queue)?

Our kids are not attending but they're on my Friends & Family List. Should I remove them before trying to obtain a pass? Or will it be find to just select the two people that are going to be riding.
