Read me--very exciting!

I just took the survey, there must be different ones, I did not get those questions about ressies, but I added it to what I would change about the site.

Did it :-) Thanks, hopefully they will listen to us Dis'ers! BTW I did have the quesitons about prebooking. Maybe it has something to do with how soon your next cruise is?

I just took the survey and I was asked the questions about booking Palo and excursions on line. Gosh, wouldn't that be great! I wonder if the answers about when you are sailing next on DCL is the key to which questions you are asked? Or maybe it is the question about when you sailed with them last. Your guess is as good as mine.

I just completed the survey as well. However, I (in the minority) don't think it is a good idea to book Palo, spa, etc. online or ahead of time. I can see people booking every day in Palo and all the spa treatments because they are not sure which ones they really want. Then they will cancel the days and treatments they don't want at the last minute or on board. Leaving every one else blowing in the breeze hoping to be the lucky one to be in the right place at the right time to get the golden ticket. At least by booking on board everyone has basically the same opportunity to get the reservation of their choice. If they do allow online booking you should incur an immediate $ charge for each reservation.

In order for this to work, I think Disney would have to put limits on the # of reservations per cabin. Palo would be ok, but the spa might be more complicated considering the # of different treatments available. A problem with Palo advanced reservations is that many people make those reservations based on their dining rotation, picking the dining room/meal they least want to attend as Palo night. You don't get your dining rotation until you check in at the port. Online reservations would be made before you know your dining rotation.

Still would like the opportunity to do it on line.

Thanks for the "heads up" about the survey. I just completed it. Let's hope that they listen.

I did get the questions about the ability to book Palo, spa and shore excursions on-line. As others have reported, it may have something to do with my trip coming up in less than 6 months. I hope a DISer wins the $500. I hope the winner (if a DISer) posts here so we know one of our "own" won!
