Read any good books lately?

I recently finished "The Boy Next Door" by "Meggan" Cabot. Same Megan Cabot that wrote the Princess Diaries series, writing for the adult market. Fun read, I recommend it. It would be a good beach/pool book! Diana

I just read "Daddy's Little Girl" by Mary H Clark and really enjoyed it. Also, "M is for Malice" by Sue Grafton. Hadn't read any of her books before, I couldn't put it down.

I also like the Nora Roberts writing as JD Robb series.

A really good book series is The Clan of the Cave Bear
it is about a little girl that lives at the end of the ice age
Her famoly is killed and she is adopted by a CLAN of people

These book are really interesting because she "discovers" and "invents" all kinds of things in the course of her daily life you know that nobody really knows how these objects were discovered but the book makes it very believable

I just read a very heart wrenching biography... "Another Place at the Table"... Its about a Special Needs teachers, that decides to go into foster parenting..

At one time she had 8, yes 8 foster kids, and all from the toughest situations. She wound up adopting 5 or 6 of the 8.

I recently read Heather Graham's Season of Miracles and Stuart Woods The Short Forever. Both were very entertaining page turners. I'm finally reading Ya Ya Sisters and it's been pretty good. I also recently read the 27 Ingredient Chili Con Carne Murders, and it was great. I'll be looking for more from this series of mysteries.

If you like the food mystery series try Diane Mott Davidson. She has the Death by Chocolate, Killer Pancakes, sticks and Scones just to name a few. They are great. A good mystery a little romance and humor. Can't ask for much more than that.
